What would all the characters post on here?
I'm a tad obsessed with this programme and I'd love to hear your theories on what they would post on here for a bit of fun

I just binge watched all 3 seasons this week. Really enjoyed it, yes it’s all clichés and caricatures but it’s bloody hilarious so don’t care!

Could they afford the houses they live in?
Julia - 2 working parents in London jobs, I bet her husband is ludicrously overpaid for being a wanker - yes, and she mentions being mortgaged to the hilt and the house having issues.
Liz - rents her flat from HA?
Kevin - his house is smaller than the others, Jill clearly has a very high powered job so yes
Anne - made multiples of £100k before she gave up work for GSK, and her husband still works, so yes
Amanda - Johnny pays for everything, I think he may be a property developer or something, so yes - at least pre divorce. They have their weekend pad in Margate as well remember.
Meg - easily! She out earns everyone. She paid cash.

One thing I don’t get, but I’m not a parent so maybe this does ring true - is why so many mostly wealthy time-poor people would subject themselves to godawful PTA fundraiser events to raise £600 for some keyboards. If they all just put in £20 each they’d raise that and not have to give their evening up to ludicrousness.

Julia would be posting MIL RANT ALERT posts. She would also refer to her mother as “D”M

Anne would be posting stupid AIBUs such as “AIBU to go to the zoo without a spare packed lunch in case one of the children loses theirs?” She would then drip feed MASSIVELY.

Kevin would be posting AIBU - parking ones - with diagrams (although it would be other people’s parking/parking obstructing his cycling).

Amanda will be on the gifted and talented board, saying how a tap dancing, Keats-reciting, knower of first 50 cube numbers 1 year old wasn’t particularly exceptional and all hers had been doing that from 6 months.

Liz would of course not be on Mumsnet but occasionally stalk the forum and send screenshots of someone’s ridiculous post (eg can I get pregnant from dirty bedsheets?)
