And they get a warm up? They've been off court 5 minutes.

FFS.

Grin

Just get on with it before I fall asleep

Petch and his mate are listening to you Raahh Grin

I still don’t know where that weird music was coming from Hmm

Raahh · 13/05/2021 20:56

Will Sonego keep up the level he has had, without the crowd support?
He's doing well so far.

Raahh · 13/05/2021 20:58

Fizzy there definitely was music.

Unless only we can hear it - like Djok's imaginary fans Grin.

Rublev is through. I thought RBA might put up more of a fight , but no.

Grin maybe but if you heard it as well hopefully I’m not going mad!

The break has got to have some sort of effect on the players and their momentum - I’m sure Sonego will miss the support he was getting from the crowd - I’m missing the crowd as well now - it just feels different now Sad

Raahh · 13/05/2021 21:04

The lack of a crowd- when there has been one- is odd.

Haven't watched any tennis. Waved DS off to Scouts and sat down to moules mariniere with DH. Two hours and a bottle of wine later, still sitting at kitchen table, laughing at your ramblings!
Re erroneous hair. I wish what now grows on my chin and neck would bugger off to the wasteland that was my eyebrows Confused

And DS just about to arrive back home, to enquire what mater and pater have been up to whilst he's been gone!

Bugger all, son.......Grin

Raahh · 13/05/2021 21:15
Grin

Dd2 (who is 10) rolled her eyes at me earlier, as she knew I had just been sitting here most of the day watching tennis.

(I did take ds to buy a suit, earlier. I felt quite productive ) Grin

it looks like the break (and lack of partisan crowd) has helped Domi more.

OP posts:
Fizzywinegum · 13/05/2021 21:23

Yes when DH left to play football I was watching tennis and when he comes back I’ll still be watching tennis - it will be a shame if Sonego loses now

My eyebrows are ridiculous - some of them are really long and wayward and there’s the odd grey one in there as well Hmm. I think they need professional help but I’m too embarrassed to take them anywhere!

Raahh · 13/05/2021 21:27

I'm very hairy- but I last did anything to my eyebrows when I got married. 14 years ago. I really haven't touched them since- and they look the same Grin.

But the hair on my head doesn't grow much now either.

Looks better for Domi now.

Raahh · 13/05/2021 21:32

Yes, I think Dom will have the edge now.

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2021 21:36

Or maybe not...

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2021 21:41

Wow fluke shot!

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2021 21:43

Amazing tennis

Raahh · 13/05/2021 21:44

It has everything, this match.

Domi looks wrecked

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2021 22:03

Well done Lorenzo. He looks fresh as a daisy after that!

Fizzywinegum · 13/05/2021 22:04

Yay really pleased for Sonego - loved his little dance at the end Grin

JaneJeffer · 13/05/2021 22:05

Domi should take up kick boxing Grin

Raahh · 14/05/2021 07:31

Yesterday was a brilliant day of tennis- I wonder if the long matches will start to affect Rafa. So long as the 'disaster' of last week doesn't haunt him going into the match with Sascha.

The Delbonis/Opelka match up is a difficult one to call. But I really want Delbonis to come through that one- not a fan of Opelka.
Djok/Tsitsipas- could go either way- Djok could come out and wipe the court with Stef, or it could be a close contest. I'm hoping Stef beats him him in straight sets.
Sonego/Rublev -that should be a good one- Sonego looked like he could play another couple of sets last night, so I don't think tiredness/fitness will be a problem.

So- another really good day in prospect- I will miss most of the afternoon, as I'm off for my second jab, and will probably be stuck in traffic getting there for ages Grin.
