TENNIS THREAD- The Clay season continues- onwards to Paris, via Madrid and Rome...

The big question at the moment is- will Medvedev ever win a match on clay??

There have been some really good matches this week- even though I obviously want Rafa to win it is great to see the younger players playing so well.

Sonego looks like someone I was at primary school with. He wasn't Italian though- he was a pure bred Manc- and I don't think he had a tache when he was 10.

Yes and great to see all the young supporters as well.

It is looking healthy for the game going forward- even though I don't want to think of a time when Rafa retires.

It does mean I have great eyelashes (positive mental attitude) but no it was not fun but nothing was as a teenager. I'd rather be middle aged!

This is an excellent match- Sonego is a lot of fun to watch.

It’s a shame about the curfew - the crowd were really getting into that match

I agree that there’s lots of optimism for the future with players like Sinner and Sonego - poor Rafa must be feeling his age a bit

I wonder if this match will go the same way as most of the others today with the higher ranked player eventually coming out on top after losing the first set

at hairy teenagers - one of the rubbish things about getting old is having too much hair where you don’t want it and too little where you do - it’s a constant battle

I'm having the same problem- Prime says that this is the Thiem match.

And it doesn't help that it appears to be totally silent.

Fizzy I'm not sure if the people left on the RBA match are staff/members of the coaching teams. There don't seem to be many of them.

when it happened in Melbourne, I'm sure the players just stayed on court. (it was the Djok/Fritz match, I think).

It says interrupted on FlashScore so I presume everyone is going home now then? WTF?
