Yes I agree. I kept thinking that surely for a storyline this they’d have bubbled for a couple of weeks to be able to hug.

(I was also thinking that Kevin looks like an old farmer. I grew up in the same village as him. All men from round here seem to look like that once they hit 55!🤣. I think it must be something in the rain!)

It's heartbreaking - but why did they not do that 'close contact bubble' thing so at least some of them could actually touch each other? Even if it was just Tim walking past and catching Abi as she runs after Corey (think they're a real life couple?) Or even Dev walking towards Asha with open arms just before the camera cuts away?

There have been some terrific performances during this storyline, but pretty yet pointless Alina looked like she'd just lost her favourite lipstick. She has no personality and adds nothing to the show.

When Kev and Debbie got stuck in the fridge at the bistro they were able to huddle together because I think they had bubbled especially for the scenes? I think the actress who plays Abby has been fantastic and she’s made me cry every time she has cried but I do want to scream at Kev to give her a bloody hug!

Yes it’s beyond belief that they bubbled the same actor to get stuck in a fridge but not for this. As someone said, they could even have had Tim stop her chasing Corey in the street with a hug. Generally it’s been really well done though.

I actually thought Abi was getting a bit screechy tonight - hope she's not going to do a Leanne.

I think she’s entitled to get a bit screechy at her son’s murderer walking around though. I didn’t like her shouting at Nina though.🙁

I think Abi has just about kept herself under control. If she had gone all guns blazing it wouldn't have had the same impact. Sally Carman is completely believable in her grief and deserves a best actor award.
