Crying my eyes out here. When Abi touched Seb's face I sobbed that loud that I scared my cat. So different from the way Oliver's death was portrayed which should also have been a major tear jerker.

@MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers yes this has affected me more than the Oliver storyline, I know it sounds awful but I don't think I would have been as upset if it had been Nina that died instead.

Honestly why cant corrie be consistent? They have some amazing actors who are given crappy lines and direction. It needs to get back to how it was.

Corrie finally back to its best but in the saddest way. I didn't expect that and I'm gutted. Poor Abi and Nina. And Asha. Wow. Where will this go now.

I just don’t understand what the Corrie bosses are doing. Do they just not have a clue what to do? Because it’s just all off. They’re getting it wrong at every turn. Poor storylines for brilliant actors. Poor scripts. Hiring terrible actors. Fucking up brilliant storylines with stupid people on the roof climaxes. Nonsense filler stuff. We need to stage an intervention. This is Corrie FFS!!

I’m a tough old cookie but that got to me. I have a son Seb’s age, a skater. Lots of his friends are quite quirky in the way they look.

Abi is without doubt one of the best characters in Corrie and to see her and Seb’s relationship finally getting on an even keel - shit, he was supposed to be waking her down the aisle. Just heartbreaking.

Roy and Nina too. They are a funny pair. I don’t know how they are going to get over this.

It’s been brilliantly done - beautifully acted and not dragged out over months.

When Abi was talking about cooking Seb's favourite dinner, that got me to. And yes, the hand on his face was so so sad.

If x1000000 want see Seb and Nina for next few years than people like Cory who are just horrible charters with zero scope. I suppose only good thing is they didn’t keep chopping between a “light hearted” scene and tragic like they do sometimes and spoil it.

Leanne ruined the Oliver storyline with her stropping off and shouting at everyone! Abi is so brilliant and touching and believable. When Seb and Nina got together I warmed to her more and was interested to see where they would lead. I hope the Seb actor goes onto better things. Meanwhile we're lumbered with the crap characters like summer, Sean, daisy etc

Should have known when I had to declare I was over 18 to watch it on catch-up. Very upsetting, especially as the parent of 2 very visibly non-standard-issue young adults. There's no shortage of horrible little cunts out there.

So, so sad. But very well done.

A random question though; Kev phoned Eileen from the hospital to tell her about Seb dying. Does anyone know why? I'm trying to think of a link or any particular closeness between them, but can't. Eileen wasn't even at Abi's hen-do.
The answer is probably staring me in the face, but I can't figure it out.

Tonight was so sad, I hate that these kind of attacks happen and there are so many nasty young men out there. Poor Abby, Nina and Roy, all 3 were amazing tonight.

If the police interview people surely they will quickly pick up peoples different stories. Wasn’t Asha with Amy when she is saying she was with Corey? And the voicemail fo Abby will show the time of the attack and Toyah and Imran know what time Kelly arrived home. Shouldn’t be too hard to put the pieces together.

And when Seb was on the phone leaving the voicemail you could hear the others shouting after them so voices and maybe names might be audible.

Yes seb lived with Eileen for a long time and Eileen treated him like a son when Abi was still all drugged up. I think Eileen even went to rescue Seb and the twins at one point as Abi was neglecting them all.
