Did anyone else see the overhead shot of Kate and Jo getting out of a police car with their hands up on twitter? Annoyed that I saw it but intrigued to what it means?!
Are they in cahoots, they were clearly doing something bad!

Oops after watching tonight's episode I thought the leaked actor was James Nesbitt?.. Is it or will Robert Carlyle pop up somewhere? I'm starting to lose track Too many names being thrown around!

I do think that Robert Carlyle looks a bit like Tommy Hunter, actually.

Has anyone got a screenshot of what was tweeted by BBC Maestro that was quickly deleted? I can’t find anything online.

Spoilers are jo is billed to appear in all seven episodes, so she is alive to the end, and the bbc trailer shows Kate and her being led away, so that fits, Carl doesn’t appear to make it.

@WalkersAreNotTheOnlyCrisps yes I saw that. She's definitely up to something. Cancelling all the surveillance and asking for Steve's phone. I don't rate her as an actress she plays the character too over the top.

What do MN think? Are all these three shots of Kate and Jo at the same location?
I have the feeling the trailer shots are elsewhere. The lorry park was empty, but in the trailer you see other vehicles. Jo parked near Kate in the car park, but in the helicopter shot you cannot see Jo's car.

The thing is they are in the same clothes and it’s scenes not aired yet, so you can clearly see who survives.

Maybe Ryan dies and they scarper together. I can't think why they do a Thelma and Louise though, seeing as Kate sent Steve the address.

There's clearly a helicopter involved, which suggests a police chase (there's no way they'd have gone straight to helicopter when going to rescue Kate...think of the budget!).

That's my best guess as to what's going on in those photos though.

But what could have happened? Kate looks reluctant to surrender, while Jo is compliant.

I think the shots we heard were misdirection in some way. I do not know how.

Maybe an elaborate way for Kate to gain Jo's trust to get her to spill about her OCG involvement?

I can't see Kate wanting 'suicide by police'. Seems drastic without prior warning of a fragile mental state.
