He specifically asked that he didn't have a state funeral, so am sure he would he bemused by Radio 1 not playing their usual music today and instead playing sad, dreary acoustic music. Find it rather hypocritical that the media goes after people when they're alive and then falls over themselves when they die to out-grief each other.

I feel sorry for whoever won - desperately stuffing the award back in the suitcase under the bed. Imagine waiting all that time to tell everyone that you had won then having to keep it secret for longer.

Not only couldn't I listen to 6music whilst I was cleaning the kitchen today as they had radio 4 on every channel, I also won't be allowed to watch this final, and Gardeners World is also not on! I just don't get why the SAME programme is on both bbc1 and bbc2

Well... errmmm. The Masters Golf is still on? FFS. DG told me he'd switch that off at 9.15 and we'd watch Gogglebox. I was cutched up in the backroom to watch Masterchef before that.
