We're on the verge of finishing series 5, what are the chances of rewatching all of series 6 to date before tomorrow's episode?
I'm also keen to find out more about Chloe. It's not an unusual name, but it does strike a chord with Tony Gates.
Pure speculation on my part but I'm waiting for two people to reappear as major influences on the storylines. As I see it the themes for crimes are money and power, which also covers corruption, on the OCG side and abuse, which you could also include with the OCG 'livestock' activities. That expression makes me sick to my stomach. But it seems more that the abuse of women is just collateral damage for their money making, as opposed to the care homes situation
I'm expecting Philip Osborne to be highly involved in the abuse side and Nigel Morton to reappear as H. Last time I remember seeing him he was mowing a very green lawn, not needing his walking stick at all, retired with a lump sum and tidy pension. It's not saying he still lives in England now though, maybe he retired to Spain and we know where cyber intelligence traced the messenger connection to. I'm on to those two fellas. Just sayin'.
The character I really can't work out is Buckles. Is he someone's fall guy and gained promotion for their ends, is he really daft or is he good at playing daft? He had one line in a past series when he refused to pass on some information, something like 'that game is for mugs' and he let other mugs play it. It made me think he's playing the system and gently seeing out his career, so are the golf pointers just a total red herring and Jo's trying to set him up?
I can't work out Steph and if she really has got involved with a shady hair salon, or if that was just a throw away lie. The Irish connection with Ted, John, Ann-Marie McGillis, Jo Davidson and those flipping great big bolts and locks. What is going on?
Can't wait for tomorrow but already an hour isn't enough and the series won't be long enough either.
