Hi all, I had commentary on the Rafa match At least I think I did! Strange. I prefer no commentary and just background noise tbh - v relaxing.

It was a bit of a strange match from what I saw, but glad Rafa came through.

I watched the first set of the Tiafoe-Schwartzman match as well but then I had to go and make some food - so annoying!

The way Rafa played today, the dog is going to get a lot of walks during this tennis season- unless Rafa gets his act together.

Phantom commentary

There was definitely commentary, honestly I distinctly remember them saying "Here he comes now" when Rafa broke in the 3rd set, and I was thinking they were making it sound as though it was already all over, and things like that always make me a bit nervous! It wasn't Robbie Koenig though, but I don't know who it was! Very strange!

Well, I really wanted to watch 'Sewing Bee' and fell asleep as soon as it started .

Re- the commentary, there was definitely commentary on Tuesday (?)during the Tiafoe match. And nothing since.

Rafa will have to do much better today- Keith isn't exactly playing the way he used to, but he will take his chances if Rafa is as wobbly as as he was at the start yesterday, and against Rublev. That's taking nothing from Rublev, who was great in that match (or Ivashka either, who took his opportunity very well, and nearly pulled off an upset).

I wonder if the mascot put Rafa off?
Maybe it's not a mascot. Maybe some people in Barcelona like to dress as fish.

Yes Rafa will definitely have to play better against Keith - it seems strange them meeting so early in a tournament

I have been dipping in and out today- so far there has been no commentary, and I haven't spotted the mascot.

I'm wondering if the mascot was just someone who didn't have a face mask, so just picked any old mask .

Stefanos is about to win his match. Rublev, Sinner and Felix AA area all through.

Rafa should be on after 3pm, same time as yesterday.
If the scoreline starts to look iffy, I promise to take the dog out. Seemed to work yesterday .

Norrie is 4-0 up in his first set against Goffin.

And top player Dan Evan, and his doubles buddy Neal are just starting their match against Cabal/Farah.
My Prime doesn't want to show that one, for some reason.

I’ve not seen any tennis today just been keeping an eye on the scores - not sure if I’ll get to see Rafa - hope it’s not too stressful!

It is very warm here this afternoon (wasn't this morning). Doesn't look quite as warm in Barcelona.

Keith is making me hot watching him, and not in phwaor kind of way.

But this is a better start for Rafa. Who is matching his super expensive watch to his kit, I see.

It's like a really, really expensive Swatch watch .
