Whenever DP and I have had an awful trip to the hospital or been stuck in a broken down car or similar, one of us will turn to the other and say, 'Well I've had a lovely day' in the style of the late great Ted Bowen off of Bullseye.

I can't see any catch-phrases emerging from this and into our lexicon somehow.
