I love Eric these days.

Although I did think he was going to tell David he'd had botox.

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 18/03/2021 15:03

At least Mackenzie is a bit of eye candy.

Harriet - spoon with hair - I would happily never set eyes on her again. She used to be a good character, what have they done to her?

UhtredRagnarson · 18/03/2021 19:10

Oh look. More eavesdropping. Do they not know how to do anything else?

UhtredRagnarson · 18/03/2021 19:13

Hen do is absolutely jumping. Mandy Rhona and Lydia standing 2m apart. Wish I was there.

PrincessScarlett · 18/03/2021 19:28

I can't bear to watch Paul and Vinny anymore. Please let this be the end of it and he's finally found out as the vile piece of shit he really is.

UhtredRagnarson · 18/03/2021 19:29

Why do they insist on writing scenes that require people to be in close contact with each other when they know they can’t be in close contact with each other? It looks absolutely ridiculous having whatshisface standing 2m away from his son pleading for him to wake up when we all know he would be over beside him kneeling down and trying to physically wake him. Why write it if you can’t act it out? Write something different!!

UhtredRagnarson · 18/03/2021 19:29

Xpost @PrincessScarlett- the wasn’t in response to your post!

PrincessScarlett · 18/03/2021 19:32

@UhtredRagnarson, didn't think so but thanks 😆

SlatternIsMyMiddleName · 18/03/2021 19:57

I truly wish this is the time Paul is found out, but with a wedding in the offing I suspect the writers will save it for the big day.

UhtredRagnarson · 18/03/2021 20:03

🤮🤮🤮

RaraRachael · 18/03/2021 20:05

Harriet in the cellar trying to "find herself" or whatever she claims to be doing - utter rubbish.

I thought they were going to find out that Moira and Mackenzie's mum was still alive and bring some old Scottish version of Faith into it, but no, she's dead, and he didn't let on - pointless

I fear, as a PP said, the denoument of the whole Paul/Vinny saga will be kept till the wedding day. Quite honestly if it unmasks the vile turd that is Paul and rids us of him forever, I can wait a wee while longer.

PLEASE NO MORE BLOODY EAVESDROPPING

PrincessScarlett · 18/03/2021 20:33

Oh joy, Paul lives to fight another day. Yes, I guess it will be announced at the wedding if the wedding is going to still go ahead.

I love Vinny's character but he really needs to speak out and get rid of Paul once and for all. And as annoying as Mandy is I'm really looking forward to her finding out it's Paul and giving him a taste of his own medicine!

StillCoughingandLaughing · 18/03/2021 22:24

Harriet looked remarkably fresh-faced for someone living in a cellar.

Do you think we could start up a campaign to get Paul killed off; maybe take it to
Parliament? A bit like ‘Free Deirdre’, but instead it would be ‘Free the viewers from him out of Home to Roost’.

Does anyone remember an actress called Cheryl Campbell? She played Julie Graham’s mom in William and Mary, and Suranne Jones’s MIL in Doctor Foster. I always thought she’d be great as Moira’s mother.

The Virgin One programme description said"Paul gazes upon Vinnie as he lies unconscious on the ground." Grin

Mandy is doing my head in worse than Paul. Isobel Steele totally showed the other two up in the final scene. Where did Lydia disappear to?

UhtredRagnarson · 19/03/2021 10:16

The Virgin One programme description said"Paul gazes upon Vinnie as he lies unconscious on the ground."

😂😂😂

PrincessScarlett · 19/03/2021 19:38

I can't bear the way Paul spoke to Vinnie. The writers have done well making him so hated by the nation.

So, what has Liv got? Has she overheard Paul, has she taped him or is it just recognising the fear in Vinnie's eyes?

UhtredRagnarson · 19/03/2021 19:41

Urgh. He’s a panto villain. They might as well have done the whole “I’ll kill you” “oh no you won’t” “oh yes I will”.

ShontayYouStay · 19/03/2021 21:44

Paul needs to get in that cellar with Harriet

Strangekindofwoman · 19/03/2021 21:47

I hate Paul but Emmerdale have played it well. We all love to hate a villian and know he will get his comeuppance in the end.

Eastie77 · 19/03/2021 22:09

I've missed a lot of episodes this year: what happened to Nate's court case for Moira's hit and run? I thought he was definitely facing a prison sentence.

Harriet is ridiculous. Please can someone lock that cellar and throw away the key.

PrincessScarlett · 19/03/2021 23:25

@Eastie77 Nate got a 2 year suspended sentence

Eastie77 · 20/03/2021 19:04

Thanks Princess. Well that conveniently tied everything up nicely. Seems very lenient considering he left someone for dead on the road (I know it wasn't actually him!)

Nospringchickendipper · 21/03/2021 09:46

This weeks episodes where dire, not one good story line.
I remember the good story lines Ashley with dementia and the Arron and Jackson.
I don’t know if it is because of COVID or because the have dreadful writers at the moment .

RaraRachael · 21/03/2021 10:32

It's just generally dreadful at the moment, but writing scenes which should involve contact between characters, when that isn't possible, isn't good.

WTF is Vinny still not telling the truth about Paul even when he's ended up in hospital. All this shit "Don't tell your mum Vinny or she'd never cope with the news" etc etc. No I'll just beat the shit out of you - absolutely ridiculous.
