I know @JaneJeffer and I are in the minority on this thread, but I love Faith Grin

Why did Will not hit the Human Spoon over the head with a tyre iron while he had the chance? She was practically begging him to do it - and god knows I wouldn’t have turned him in.

Moira hadn't seen her mother for so long she could have died at any time and she'd have been none the wiser.

Jojoanna · 16/03/2021 20:17

Is Harriet doing 40 days/nights in the wilderness or rather the cellar

Loved Cain tonight 😊

JaneJeffer · 16/03/2021 20:24

I always wonder about the loo in these situations!

Jojoanna · 16/03/2021 20:28

Yes we kept saying how she’s going to the loo ?

UhtredRagnarson · 16/03/2021 20:33

I hoped thought Will was going to lock her in the cellar and let her fade away.

StillCoughingandLaughing · 16/03/2021 22:29

Is Moira’s mum going to be alive? Mackenzie lying about the date seems a bit of a lame ‘twist’. Maybe he saw a death announcement for someone with the same name and took an opportunity?

I did have to laugh when Dawn said, ‘I didn’t go down into the cellar though - it gives me the creeps’. Maybe because she didn’t know it existed until yesterday? Grin

Is it just me or does Eric actor seem genuinely emotional here?

JaneJeffer · 17/03/2021 19:16

He did. Emmerdale is sponsored by Boris Johnson...

UhtredRagnarson · 17/03/2021 19:18

Grin @JaneJeffer

UhtredRagnarson · 17/03/2021 19:18

I don’t really understand the point of this Mackenzie/mother storyline.

JaneJeffer · 17/03/2021 19:20

Harriet needs to stay in the dark except for the overhead bulb, two lanterns and a candle.

Graciebobcat · 17/03/2021 19:22

It mustn't be too hard to produce tears, thinking about people you miss and want to hug in real life.

Only Harriet could become a hermit, except not, in a half-arsed way while being an absolute attention-seeking pain in the arse in the cellar.

UhtredRagnarson · 17/03/2021 19:22

I’m confused.

So according to current story Mackenzie arrived in October and told Moria that mum was dead but the truth is she died in November and Mackenzie is saying he was with her. But that would mean Mackenzie disappeared from emmerdale for a while. I don’t recall that he did. I remember him hanging around like a bad smell.

JaneJeffer · 17/03/2021 19:23

I'm confused too.

ShontayYouStay · 17/03/2021 19:55

The secret cellar obviously has a secret toilet Grin

UhtredRagnarson · 17/03/2021 19:58

Or a bucket....

RaraRachael · 17/03/2021 19:59

I thought about the cellar toilet situation too! Yet another pointless story about a character we don't care about.
Don't know why that interfering old bag thought she needed to poke her nose in about Mackenzie and Moira's mother.

When will there be a decent story that doesn't involve pointless characters? No, didn't think so Hmm

excelledyourself · 17/03/2021 21:25

Dear God, Mackenzie is cringeworthy. Had him down as a cardboard gangster to begin with, but I think that was preferable to this snivelling, grovelling, specimen.

deste · 17/03/2021 21:40

I had to switch off, McKenzie must be the worst actor ever. Wooden.

StillCoughingandLaughing · 17/03/2021 22:53

@UhtredRagnarson

I don’t really understand the point of this Mackenzie/mother storyline.
I think we win a bun or something if we guess.

I thought that too. I do think Chris Chitell is very good in general.

What the fuck am I actually watching, I have to stop and start it's so bad

Harriet....no one bloody cares, absolutely sick of her overacting and now she's confined herself to the cellar, Christ on a bike it's ridiculous

Why they had to bring Mackenzie into it all is beyond me, he's added nothing to it, now we'll be back to him trying to be a baddie again because Moira won't forgive him, although why Moira never tried to get in touch with her mother is beyond me.

The best scene lately was Eric tonight, I could really feel his emotion, like it meant something to him personally as well as his character.
