So I think he hasn't brought it up... Someone (else) is after Goliath. But my partner thinks someone else is Goliath that he is protecting.

I guess someone doesn't want him to get away with it.

He killed at least 3 people, one, the brother, because he had an affair with Emma but why the other 2?

I'm liking this, want sure after last week but it moved on a lot this week.

DP thought the pretty doctor was Tom's wife having had extensive plastic surgery (given that she was a spook), but that theory isn't right.

I have another theory. Are we allowed to post theories? I've got no insider knowledge, just a hunch.

I wonder what the priest and the other man he killed had done? I'm trying to think back to the time they searched the island, I assuming he led them to a different spot to dig as Niamh his DS was the one who spotted the other tree and got them to search a different location. Might re watch it now to see.

Don't think his wife is dead. The fact that she was a spook means she could prob have got a new identity.

I think it’s the wife who has come back after 20 years to lay the breadcrumbs to reveal Tom is Goliath.

Ok, I think there was a Goliath who killed all 3 men. Tom's wife was having an affair with Corry, which Tom discovered when investigating Corry's killing. So Tom either killed his wife and made it look like she was also or victim of Goliath, or she found out he was trying to kill her and disappeared to avoid being murdered.

Isn't it very weird of him to have given the twin necklace to his daughter that he probably knew his wife had given to her lover?

I reckon blonde woman's mother will know more about what went on.

What about Jackie Twomey though? He seems to have had an aversion to looking to deeply in to the past from the start. However I think it's too obvious for him to be Goliath. I wonder if he's involved in some of the gun running (secret meeting with Harkin's wife) and doesn't want anyone looking too closely, in case they find out he was involved (perhaps being paid to turn a blind eye).

I think Dinger perhaps knows more than he's letting on. He was certainly dropping cryptic clues to McKeever.

Definitely something to do with Tom's wife. Whether or not she is Goliath is difficult to say. I think there are too many hints being dropped for it to be her, however I wonder if she found out who Goliath was and it was so explosive (senior RUC/politician/military) and she had to disappear before she was killed to keep her quiet.

On BBC it just gives a summary for Ep3: Tom launches a man hunt for Adam Corry, as it appears Goliath is at large again.

That twist was so sudden I was taken by surprise and not concentrating. What was Tom's motive for shooting Corry?

Some thoughts: if Emma was a spook, I can't imagine she'd have an affair.
The necklace story is too clichéd.
How come Tom's daughter was kidnapped seemingly at random?
Blonde Dr knows or suspects more than she's letting on. Her mother definitely knows something.. as does Dnger.

Daughter's kidnap wasn't at random. That was Pat sending a message to Tom that if he did tell Pat's wife about the woman, Viagra etc Pat would seek revenge.

Blonde Doctor's father was a Catholic priest. Explosive stuff. Doctor would have been a teenager/early 20s when he disappeared. Old enough to have been involved in something at the time?

Motive for shooting Ser Barristan Corry - to wake us all up and ensure we come back for Ep 3, I think! Grin Has worked a treat on me.
