News today is that they’re cutting a week

It just doesn’t even really make sense! The sock situation.

To be fair, I burst a blood vessel in my finger putting a shoe on once. I’d be crap as Cinderella!

My blood vessels pop all by themselves.

The pain just before they do is excruciating.

I’d be rubbish as Cinderella also as I’m firstly in ugly sister territory and have feed that would be considered unattractive on a hobbit.

Especially now. All he'd have to do is say he woke up with a dry cough.

In retrospect I think you can absolutely see he was injured in the Will and Kate dance. I was watching it with my mother and remarked they were out of sync with each other. My mum said she could see that too, but that weirdly Hamish looked to be the one going too fast as Faye was moving with the music and Hamish's timing was off. And she was right, I thought it was weird as it would be unusual for the professional to be the one messing up the timing. But when you watch it again, he's clearly moving ahead of the music while Faye's timing seems pretty much spot-on. It makes sense knowing he was nursing an injury.

And as ludicrous as 'I damaged my finger putting on a sock' sounds, these weird accidents really happen. Last month I slipped walking down a muddy hill and landed in an involuntary front split. I was fine. A week later I passed a brioche to DS and put my back out. Bodies are weird.

I think he did injure it (my mam did something similar cleaning the sofa) but would have carried on but after last week he thought no thanks.

I wonder if he was asked to stand aside for a more ‘popular’ poster boy so that the viewers could be enticed back?

Something is odd. He may well have been injured by a vicious sock. But to not be able to come back even with a compilation of best bits week?

I hope he jumped rather than being pushed down the tunnel a la Todd.

Of course we can speculate all we like. I’m not sure the truth will ever out.
