I couldn't see another thread so I thought I'd start one

My parents took me to see T&D in the mid to late 80s, it was just amazing

Rooty I can see why.

Note they didn’t compare how Booby went from practically flappies on show to just boobage to being practically being buttoned up to the neck.

And tortoise going from somewhat well preserved to being in dire need of some more formaldehyde.

Or the potion in Death Becomes Her.

I bet you could scrape the pair of them down to the wood though.

Tonight's show reminded me of how much better the routines were when T&D were involved in the choreography.

Well that just shows us why we loved it for years, that was a great trip down memory lane, really enjoyed that

I love James Jordan, always did, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think he should be on the judges panel on SCD or Brendan, get rid of Bruno and replace him with either of those two, oh and Motsi can take a hike too.

I'm surprised to read some people would like Jason back, I was very much put in my place by a poster when I said some time back that I'd have liked him to stay and would miss him, so glad I'm not the only one

Kind of looking forward to next week now and hoping its better than it was and whatever is going on behind the scenes is sorted out.

I’m looking through rose tinted glasses at Jason - I had my moments with him after Kazgate and Timgate and swirlingdiwnthepangate but he is much missed for me at the moment ellenanora

You only have to watch that trip down memory lane to realise the extent of the curious hollowness of the current series. It's not the lack of an audience. Strictly would have noticeably lost its heart too if that were the case. But there was a joyous exuberance, warmth and camaraderie evident back then that does not seem to be in evidence these days.

We can only hope that everyone involved watches that retrospective and there is some sort of thaw and reanimation like in a fairytale!
