She'll be appearing on all kinds of Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity, reality TV programmes as soon as the pandemic allows! The producers will be rubbing their hands with glee at how much we all hate her.

Ah that is perceptive as I did notice he reacted to her saying she used to be a lesbian. That does explains the change when things had seemed healthy until then. I had been wondering if he’d been trying to hide an anxiety or being asexual or something else but I think your explanation makes more sense , thank you !

I agree with that explanation. When he said he wasn't attracted to her, I had assumed her lifestyle had completely turned him off.

I think if the Matt thing was genuine, then the only thing that would've worked would have been to match him with someone younger and even more shy, so that he could feel more in control. Lauren was older than him but seemed a lot older at times - I think she felt like his mum sometimes.

I think he is EXTREMELY old fashioned and from the minute she expressed being sexually adventurous, particularly threesomes and swinging, he was immediately repulsed.

I don't blame him. That would have put off even non-virgins I'd be like WTF does USED to be a lesbian mean?!

I don't blame him either, but a google suggests that she never considered herself a lesbian but as someone who had experimented but was forced to say that to him by producers for drama. I also think its possible she was told to be sexually aggressive for drama and it massively backfired on them because he fled for the hills.

Jules specifically said she wanted someone taller than her and they put her with Cameron. I bet they're spitting feathers that it's working out!

We can see straight away that Dino and Heidi would be better suited - and that Melissa and Farmer Mick would go great together - so why can't they?

They seemed to put couples together to 'fix' each other - which isn't how it works!!

And how can they let slimy creeps like baldy Mike onto the ixperiment alongside vulnerable people like Ning and Lizzie?

Id like to see them give more support along the way too - if Heidi had access to MN, she'd be listening to her gut and would have LTB a long time ago

Ok let me rephrase...Ines will never get a date with someone genuinely looking for a serious relationship rather than Z-list status. And if she genuinely has PTSD the producers should be ashamed of themselves - she should not have been allowed anywhere near this program.

Avoid reading The Sun online (I know I know ) but I take a look at the trashy celebrity page when bored and it showed a large picture with a big spoiler, didn’t even click to see it, it was right there. Gutted I saw it!

One non-spoiler that someone mentioned upthread was the change in Lizzie. What a make-under! She has finally taken someone's advice (unlike on her wedding day😂😂)

I agree Matt was repulsed by the idea of swinging and three-somes. I don't blame him. I would be too. But I don't think that is 'EXTREMELY old fashioned'.

I think there is a lot of judgement for Matt being a male virgin. I don't think anyone would be surprised if a woman were turned off at the idea of her new partner being a former gay man who now wanted to go for three-somes and swinging.

Totally agree, the women get the blunt end of things! The sexism works both way on this show!!

A good point italian greyhound - I wouldn’t have been thrilled either.

My judgement for Matt was not because he was virginal or taken aback at the rather more experienced Loz than he was bargaining for.

It was because of his choices. I don’t like the way he was towards Lauren - before or after the revelation.

He came across as emotionally stunted to me - which is fine. But to take part in this programme in the first place and to be convincing enough to be picked by the experts was all shades of wrong.

Did he think - really think - that his wife would happily let him stay a virgin? Or did he join this lot to lose his virginity on the telly? All wrong.

I’m feeling the same about other contestants who are feeling a little weighed down by their baggage.

I don’t need rows, fights and fireworks. The dramas I can take or leave.

But picking people for their ishoos is wrong.

That's really awful and so unfair to Lauren.

I'm quite surprised they do that to people. I wonder how many of the stories are manipulated. I can't imagine Cyrell saying anything she wasn't happy with.

I am wondering that too! I suppose I kind of feel the producers manipulate it and the 'experts' are genuine!! They are all relationship counsellors aren't they? So it must damage their credibility! I feel they are genuinely shocked and surprised at some of the behaviour!

I am ready to admit, again, Ivan a dreadful judge of character!

I've no idea why he joined the show! I think he is stunted emotionally, I really didn't like his parents! Yes, I can be judgemental too!

But Ning and her partner have not done the deed yet so not having sex with your new spouse isn't unprecedented.

I am explaining myself poorly. I’m not sure how to put it.

Of course they shouldn’t be expected to have sex. However in the usual scheme of things, that is what husbands and wives do.

It just seems a ruddy odd choice of a programme to go on. He can’t give emotionally - but was happy to lose his virginity on this programme. He can’t accept that a woman might have a more varied sex life than him but is happy to lose his virginity to her.

He is a bloody odd fish. And I’m glad he is away from it. He made for uncomfortable viewing.

I just think it's a shame that at 29 the most interesting thing about Matt was his virginity 😉

Ines has 157k followers on Instagram and has said that she will never have to do a 9-5 job ever again (I disagree with this as I don't think she'll still be able to live off her MAFS fame in 5-10 years but hey) whereas Sam disappeared from all social media for 6 months after MAFS, and now has 50k followers so looks like he suffered more than Ines did.
