Moving to a new house should have been a dream come true for Alice (keesley hawks) and Harry (Jason Merrells) and their daughter Charlotte

But turns into a nightmare when Alice finds Harry at the bottom of the stairs dead

And turns out harry has secrets ........

Anyone watching?

His parents are awful. How could they take the house without her knowing,

I shouldn’t watch these types of programmes. I get angry with the stupid women who don’t get involved in the family finances.

I enjoyed it but it always annoys me when people don't show things to the police, I know it's to make a story but it bugs me. I'd have been down the station with the cctv as soon as I saw it Grin

@midsomermurderess

The tone of it reminds me of Guilt, the series with 2 brothers, set in Edinburgh, from last year. I liked this so far, lots of strange things popping up. I'm sticking with it. Not binging though, so over that.

I loved that!

It's not clear how long they'd been together though. Is it a recent thing or long term?

Oh yes no bingeing. I’m Watching Weekly so no spoilers please

I couldn't understand how she didn't have automatic lights outside the house.

Lots of nice twists but didn't think much of the acting. There wasn't a sense of grief or worry from any of them.

Yes she seems like she’s in a right mess just because she didn’t pay enough attention to anything that was going on. I can’t blame his parents- he’s left them all in a mess.

Thought it was a bit crap but might give it one more go.

Onky watching it as I've finished The Serpent but TBH nothing can top that at the moment. Loved it!

The 'comedy' description put me off, I prefer serious drama. Is it that 'funny'?

I’ve asked mnhq to change title to itv pace. So spoilers

Not sure why they show one then other 5 on demand

Much prefer to watch weekly

Gives something to look forward to and discuss episodes weekly

If anyone wants to binge please do your own thread

Thank you :)

20 years yet he didn't even ask her if she would like a nice bannister or how to work the curtain app! How odd! Plus he was wearing the wrong football scarf? Maybe this isn't Harry at all ?

20 years, then it's very odd and the daughter is presumably his. I'd still like to know where they were living before.

I enjoyed it - loved the very dark humour, and I'm enjoying Keely's performance more that I have done in other programmes.

It's black humour @LizFlowers which isn't for everyone but I like it Grin

Plus he was wearing the wrong football scarf? Maybe this isn't Harry at all ? the scarf belonged to the mortuary man. He'd put it on him to cover up the incisions made in the pm.

I like Keely Hawes and Joanna Lumley is always good.
Her dad was the only one who seemed upset he'd died!

Hmm. It’s not what passes as comedy in my world, and I’m already annoyed with her for being so clueless.

On the other hand, I’m quite interested to know what happens next.

the80s the morgue guy put the Spurs gear on him to hide post mortem scars.

You know what is ridiculous about this program? Friends of mine have recently self-built their own home, incredibly similar to this one. They have almost identical floating stairs, and they had to install bannisters, on both sides, even the wall side one, to pass building regs.
