Yes! I've caught so many of them by accident and then get hooked in. Don't like the American ones though.

DrCoconut · 15/01/2021 18:02

I love them too. We watched Lamb to the Slaughter in English at school once and I've been intrigued ever since. Caught some on mat leave years ago and again now in lockdown. I know they've dated but they're still so clever. I like how dark some of them are. In some ways Inside No.9 is quite similar.

MarthasGinYard · 15/01/2021 18:13

Inside no 9

Off to find that

Marthasginyard Do! They are SO good. Written by Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton from League of Gentleman & Psychville. Each episode is a self contained story with really varied styles and plot but all quite dark and sinister. Some of them have left me feeling a bit uncomfortable at times but all fantastic. About 5 series I think and some on iplayer. Hard to pick my favourites. Let us know what you think.

MarthasGinYard · 15/01/2021 18:22

Thank you

I sure will

Glad I'm not a solo fan Grin

Yes love these! Always a great ending.

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 15/01/2021 18:35

Love TotU.

Lamb to the slaughter And royal jelly I remembered from childhood. Still wonderful .

My favourite this time round?

A stranger in town with Derek Jacobi. Perfection for me.

Love me a bit of inside nr 9 too.
The 12 days of Christine was sublime. Loved Bernie Clifton’s Dressing Room. And Thinking Out Loud was genius.

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 15/01/2021 18:38
