It really annoys me about Yasmeen's house. Geoff agreed to sell and got a lump sum upfront, but Yasmeen refused and didn't sign the paperwork. Gail lost everything when Lewis scammed her and ended up in debt, she had to sell her house to David to pay it off. I seem to remember that he paid her back though when he got back with Audrey, iirc it was about 40,000 pounds.

It was so rubbish tonight Why did we miss vital moments like Faye confessing that Craig? Also, how come the same writers who know about extradition treaties (Ray saying Venezuela doesn’t have one) still think criminals can flee to Spain like we’re living in the 80s?

Gail and Yasmin would be good house mates I agree. Shame David had to move out. It’s Corrie half the population are seriously over crowded the other half hardly work and manage whole flats.

Looks like Eileens BnB will have another guest. Last time he was struggling pay rent on one room now unpaid leave for as long as he needs. Not sure I’m looking forward to another stroppy teen moaning about football and being bored all the time.

Also what happened to Gail’s long lost Dad Ted? Is he still alive? It would be very handy if he popped his clogs so Gail could inherit his fortune and save Platt Towers.

David mowing Gail’s slippers did make me chuckle, I love their relationship.

I don’t know who is going to be thrilled more Nicks ex when her job is over and she inherits a MIL or Leanne when Nick move back in the flat. Still I guess when Audrey finally dies she can have her house!

There was some jiggery pokery between the salon and the barber shop wasn’t there. Did nick give the barber shop to Audrey and she sold the salon to Claudia? Then Maria went to manage the barber shop on audreys orders?

Come to think of it- didn’t Emma used to work in the salon? Was she sacked?

I think Emma is supposed to work in both the salon and the pub - we’re just not seeing much of anyone in the salon or the barbers because they can’t really film hairdressing scenes at the moment.

It’s a pity - I miss the sight of Samia Longchambon looking terrified at the sight of a pair of scissors, despite having played a hairdresser for nearly 20 years

She really does look terrified! All that “fluffing” of people’s hair just to avoid putting scissors near it!

I just ignore the property deals, they are so far fetched. I ignore criminal activity most of the time too.
Which doesn't leave much, unless there's a lingering death. There usually is.

If the writers want to make it true to life and not show any hairdressers or barber scenes, how come the pub and all the various cafes/restuarants are open?

I really enjoyed the episode - a few parts of it really made me chuckle!
