I believe so, Threeleaper. Such beautiful hands. I looked him up during the previous series when he was the technician as he seemed to be worth looking at 🥰

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/02/2021 18:56

Funnily enough I commented to DH what lovely hands not of them have - very long, smooth fingers.

Whether it's genetics, or constant submersion in cleansing, softening clay, or a mixture of both, I wouldn't like to say.

LaChatte · 06/02/2021 21:05

Trust me, pottery does NOT leave you with lovely soft hands!

Nydj · 07/02/2021 13:31

I think Rich does hand building - tiles mainly - so perhaps not so much contact with clay as someone who sculpts or a wheel potter?

SoupDragon · 07/02/2021 13:33

Woodworker Will from the Repair Shop has beautiful hands too.

I bow to your obvious knowledge and experience. Grin

Evening potters

Oh heck, never knew there was a thread for this. Love this programme. It's my Sunday night highlight.

And the wonderful Dolly, what more could I want!

Hi all Smile

SoupDragon · 07/02/2021 20:04

Henry is wearing the most makeup of them all 😂

TheSpottedZebra · 07/02/2021 20:04

Surely someone is sculpting Lionel Richie.
HELLO?

Wolfcub · 07/02/2021 20:07

Sal seems to have the best plan again

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/02/2021 20:13

I would have done Ozzy - but I would have had a bat in his mouth.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/02/2021 20:14

These are already better than the week "Bake Off" had them sculpting pop icons in cake.

I still wake up screaming about the David Bowie one . . .

SimonJT · 07/02/2021 20:15

ooo I’m late to the party tonight, I am however drinking out of a mug made by Henry.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/02/2021 20:15

I love Sal!

Not even a stealth boast - shameless bragging!

The balloons are a genius idea. It's a proper faff pulling solid, soggy newspaper wrapped with masking tape out.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 07/02/2021 20:17

Phew!

Lovely helpful Henry - I do love the way they are all so generous towards each other.

Akire · 07/02/2021 20:18

This has to be the hardest week ever surely.

Roussette · 07/02/2021 20:18

Blimey ... it's like pulling their brains out after a frontal lobotomy Shock

SimonJT · 07/02/2021 20:18

@SchadenfreudePersonified

I love Sal!
She is brilliant, I always find pottery throw down show the personalities of contestants very well.

I liked how she "popped" them through the heary-holes! Grin
LaChatte · 07/02/2021 20:20

Technically I'd say it's easier than last weeks (i find throwing big pieces really difficult), but it really depends on how good they are at reproducing people's features.

SoupDragon · 07/02/2021 20:22

Bruce Springsteen is looking good
