Yay! Love the throwdown!

TheSpottedZebra · 23/12/2020 15:28

OOOH!

Backwardsuptheescalator · 23/12/2020 23:48

Thank you. Really looking forward to it.

toomuchlikemyusername · 23/12/2020 23:58

Ooh. Great news. We live this show, I thought it had been shelved so really pleased to hear a new series is coming. DD will be chuffed too.

ScienceSensibility · 25/12/2020 01:51

Excellent news. Love this programme, with the exception of that blubbing fool who starts crying at the drop of a hat. Hope he dials it back a bit this year.
Pottery looks really hard, I couldn’t even lift the lumps of clay they start off with. The wheels make me dizzy as well but I love to see the creativity..

StilaOnTheWrongPlane · 25/12/2020 02:01

Oooh great news and something to look forward to.

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 25/12/2020 16:31

Fabulous. I was wondering when it might be Smile

wantmorenow · 25/12/2020 17:11

2021 sounds even better for that. Love Pottery Throwdown

Whatsnewpussyhat · 25/12/2020 17:21

Yay! Something to look forward to on telly.

SoupDragon · 25/12/2020 17:22

Hurrah!!

GertiMJN · 25/12/2020 20:15

Grin thanks for this!

Kilpitlees · 25/12/2020 20:25

Yay 😀

Wingedharpy · 25/12/2020 21:37

@ScienceSensibility : "that blubbing fool" 🤣🤣🤣

I do know what you mean, though I think his tears are genuine.
I forgive him - I think it's to do with his artistic temperament.

I think I was being a bit harsh! It was the middle of the night and I was still wrapping Christmas presents! 🤣

The reason it annoys me is that he does it so often, it becomes about him rather than the maker.

However, I think I could have been a bit more Christmas spirited! Peace and good will to all potters. 🎄🎄

TheSilveryPussycat · 25/12/2020 23:59

Brilliant!

I forgive him his tears because he’s a friend of a friend. Though I’ve never met him.

I do have a few of his mugs though, unfortunately they have very wide brims ( bits at the top, are they called brims?) and I find the tea cools down too fast.

TheSpottedZebra · 27/12/2020 19:18

I love Keith (blubberer). I love that his emotions just leak out -he can be moved by someone doing really well, trying really hard, communicating something... Any pot could move him to tears!

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 27/12/2020 19:22

I love crynkeef 🥰

I’m not a lover of free range armpits poking out of dungers though.

Cover the pits but let your tears run free keef.

SoupDragon · 10/01/2021 19:36

Is anyone else waiting excitedly for this to start?

Not sure I'm going to like the new presenter going by the trailers.

AaronPurr · 10/01/2021 19:37

Eagerly waiting here, but also unsure about the new presenter.

SoupDragon · 10/01/2021 19:38

Just whetting my appetite with a spot of pottery on countyfile

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 10/01/2021 19:41

I’m hoping the new presenter will be fine. I didn’t take to Mel but loved Sara. I’ll get distracted by crynkeef anyway Wink

Wolfcub · 10/01/2021 19:48

Evening all

Wolfcub · 10/01/2021 19:52

Keith looks like he's been crying and we haven't even started

SheldonesqueIsUnwell · 10/01/2021 19:55

Ooh I like the look of the bee stuff.

And Margo and RegSmile
