I so agree! No-one ever seems to consider what is the right thing to do, only what is the easy way around this. Then the lies get more convoluted and knowing someone's guilty secret is used as some sort of leverage.

I think it would be brilliant if the characters reministed a bit at the moment. Gail could get a letter from Suzi or Ken get a phone call from his long lost, never spoken about son Lawrence, that would be a shock to his family Betty could start haunting the Rovers They could have loads of fun with it rather than spewing out this rubbish

Good idea, is Gail’s long lost father still alive? (completely forgotten about and never mentioned) It would be great if Gail inherited a load of cash, she could buy the house back for the family and treat them to a new picture while she’s at it!

The animal print throw is not around on classic Corrie, I think that was down to Kylie! I just posted the photo of the house to show what picture I was talking about.

It was a storyline some years ago. Didn't his real life son Linus play Lawrence? And I'm sure another of his sons played his grandson but I can't remember how they came into Ken's life. Wasn't the grandson involved in a charity scam and got Sawphie to donate loads of Kev's money?

Yes that’s a recent one, I’ve attached both images from Corrie now and Classic Corrie, they must love that picture as they have gone to the bother of having it reframed! Maybe that would be a good storyline for the Platts, to get some cash to buy their house back, it could be a priceless original from a long dead artist!

Please note no sign of animal print throw in the classic picture!
