elspeth totally agree with your whole post, the whole 'victim' story makes me feel uncomfortable and I'm sure he doesn't really wish to be seen that way.

The reason I am not keen on him is his lack of personality which is nothing to do with his injuries

Re Oti, does anyone remember the Salsa she and Graeme Swann did to Follow da Leader where they were dressed as aerobics instructors? She looked amazing in that, and Graeme seemed to enjoy it too!

The music is driving me bonkers this year. Some things can be arranged in a different time signature and still sound ok (compare this and ) but this year things have been cut about really oddly. They repeat sections of lyrics and have even had things that don't rhyme once or twice.

I'm not blaming whoever arranges them particularly, but I think in their quest for new songs they've tried to shoehorn some in that just don't work.

I loved the Priscilla number, but would have preferred to see Aljaz instead of Gorka. Obvs Jo-Jo nailed it, and Gio was fabulous and authentic. Gorka seemed uncomfortable or embarrassed . Aljaz could have pulled off the camp joy much better, imho.

Gorka wasn’t an obvious choice. It had Alijaz’s name all over it, he would have out-camped Johannes.

More exciting snacks this evening as dh has ordered a curry.

Predict JJ v Jamie in DO, with Jamie to go! I like him a lot, but the dance was not his best at all. I like JJ too, so would be disappointed to see him go really, but again, based purely on dancing he, Jamie and Bill I think were the weakest this week.

I don't love Maisie, but she is a really good dancer. Almost like a pro really, but I don't enjoy her dances so much...not sure why! I can see she is good, but somehow others are more watchable? Weird.

I think Maisie will be in the DO with one of Jamie or Bill. JJ seems to have an inexplicable fan following.
