Perfect for same difference as is cheesy disney and a duet, so-so for Niki as is a bit of a power ballad. Leon needn't bother. Could work for Hope (but not sl*tty enough)

Why does the winner have to sing a cover version? Don't they have any song writers who could knock up something original like the one Shayne sung?

Has anyone read Ben Elton's Chart Throb? It's a really funny send up of X-factor - and the Louis-spoof spends the whole novel telling the contestants that they 'owned' the song.

i have recently read Chart Throb- it really is a clever send up. It makes you think everything you see on x factor is afix, and set up- and it probably is!!

i loved the plastic surgery obsessed 'Sharon' character best....
