It's been such a strange year for us all but never more so than for the people of the dales, what will Christmas and the New Year episodes bring...........some lighthearted relief I hope but probably not.

I don't know if I can cope if Laurel hits the bottle again - I'm already fretting about the lovely Peter's liver in Corrie, to cope with fretting about hers. Actress is so much better than the others isn't she? She really shows up whoever she's in a scene with. And if she does descend in the bottle again, it will be brilliant, but harrowing, viewing.
And I don't give two doo dahs about the new vicar, the old vicar, Rishi etc.
And Al suddenly has money to buy a new suit - when the night before he was drooling over the thought of an out of date pie from Chas!

I feel so sorry for Laurel and yes SophieB100 she is the best, I've always said that about her, and though she does my head at times (especially when she was with Marlon) she out acts anyone else on the show and never seems to get the recognition for it.

Ah poor Manpreet, I know it was awful what she did but I like her, as for her sister wow how to make all it about you Meena.

What the feck is the point of Carls mother coming back and how exactly is she going to see him when none of us have seen him for months and months, how old is Carl now anyway.

JaneJeffer do you remember how good Shadrach was to Laurel when Daniel died, actually did he deliver Daniel? that is a far distant memory I have but I could be wrong.

Shadrach was an odd one. When he was in it he was this lovable useless drunken rogue that couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. And yes I remember him being kind to Laurel.

However once he was dead and Faith turned up, he was turned into this violent abusive man he beat his wife and kids.

Yes he did @ellenanora5 and he was his godfather and really loved him and was very upset when he died.

The worst disservice they did him is saying he was a racist @PrincessScarlett!

I don’t understand why Harry has been forgotten.... we’ve seen lots of Victoria and her boyfriend with the setting up on Matty and Amy storyline and yet Victoria was never pushing a pram.... no baby has never been needed for the pushing of prams.
Also is Harry’s name “special” in anyway?
Victoria’s brothers children’s are called Sarah and Jack.
When Victoria was with Adam and he was believed to be the father of Vanessas son Johnny, Victoria was not happy as she wanted to call her own son Johnny one day as her dads real name was John....

They've got a holiday village with chalets on old Emmerdale at the moment! Every teenager in the village has got a job as a cleaner but does absolutely no cleaning!!!
Kim's who personality is just so old now.
In the old version, she was threatening to sack someone for no particular reason and I thought that just wouldn't wash in modern times but then a few nights ago, she did exactly the same!!! Just throwing her weight about as if she is the Queen but doesn't even have enough money to build some chalets!!!!

But they're 2 completely different people & everyone handles their addictions differently. I think it would be a bit weird if they handled it exactly the same. I'd consider that to be lazy writing.
