Meena kind of chews all her words and rolls them around in her mouth before she says them - weird.

The “meet David” thing was just bizarre. Priya and Al not there, rishi disappeared half way through. So it was “meet my sister and step nephew and his partner, Who you’ve known for years longer than I have.” Yeah thats worth dressing up and having drinks in a cafe for.

Dare I say it, Meena I worse than Jessie!

She overacts everything and there's no way her and David are suited. The whole introducing him to the family was ridiculous considering he's known them all for years and even Rishi pointed out that he's Amber's dad.

She is worse than Jessie! (Emmerdale writers that is not a green light to bring Jessie back!!)

She’s an appalling actress but tbf theyre writing appalling stuff for her to act. And David too. They’ve made him a jittery clown.

I think Emmerdale missed a trick with the drug planting storyline. They should have had Sarah plant the drugs on Ellis. They could still have done the racial discrimination story but how Al would have reacted to his mistress's daughter planting drugs on his son would have been interesting!

Ooh that would have been a better storyline! Although would lead to more screen time for wooden Al. So there’s that...

The ending of the racial profiling story - if that was the ending, and if you can call it a story - was pathetic. ‘Oh, they’ve dropped the case as there was insufficient evidence, and that officer who racially profiled me is being investigated’. So no evidence apart from him being caught in possession of drugs? And pretty much nothing concrete to suggest racial profiling either...

the Debbie 'return' made me turn off.. she's an awful stinking character that just smells worse with every episode...

Dingle code... don't make me laugh.. they'd steal from each other ffs .. it was an appalling conclusion to a pretty ineffective storyline.

No doubt she'll come out smelling of roses in the Al storyline too...

It was lip service. That’s it. They’re ticking a box. Barely.

I've not seen the outcome, but as soon as this storyline started, it seemed to me that they were just keeping up with the Keegan storyline from Eastenders.

As for Debbie, I can't help but feel there's not much acting going on there. Charley seems very... straight-faced also.

Yes I find that any time the soaps do racism stories they never sound convincing because of the way they're written.

I think Charley is very shy in real life.

she is.. and she's very lovely.. as is her partner Matthew ... I met them in Blair Drummond several years ago.. she sat next to me... they were there with their kids who were much younger then...

her character is still horrid though lol

Aww I feel bad not liking Debbie so much when she’s so nice IRL. Emmerdale should write better stories for her.

Consider me suitably shamed I saw them on The Chase and just some of her facial expressions gave the wrong impression. But I have been presumed snobby and cold in the past by people who have gone on to become best friends, so yes, I shouldn't judge!

This Marlon and Rhona farce has become very tedious, very quickly.
