I feel a bit of affection towards Jess. She seems much younger than her age (my sister is the same age) and seems quite fragile. I think that will keep her in a few more days.

Are ITV possibly gearing up to get Gi doing some presenting? They've focussed on her lots lately especially the side of her that comforts the sad ones or comes in to the diary room and has quite well thought out conversations?

I am really impressed with what Victoria has been through with breast cancer and how she addressed jess’s questions. It must have been a horrific time for her. But on saying that, she comes across as quite arrogant, and the whole crush thing, ans the skipping and then the go slow trial, where it looked like she was just doing it because she wanted to and wasn’t that fussed about the number of stars didn’t do her any favours,,

I think Ruthie will really regret blabbing about Edward to Shane. She will never, ever, be allowed to forget it.

Yes Ruthie telling all about Prince Edward was cringey. I went off her after that. She's older than me and was gossiping about an ex like a teenager.

I think it will be Russell or Victoria tonight. Nothing against either if them but I think the others shave more fans.

Just read on Curtis' instgram (aj's brother) that their nana has died. And that on pre agreement before he went in, they aren't informing AJ until he comes out.

So sad. Im guessing its not something they through in in the interview with ant and dec and that they do it off camera...

Just seen a clip of Russell doing the trial - this one actually looks fun and messy!

Did anyone else think last night when they told Russell he could do the trial tonight...what if it is one he can't do for medical reasons (as he was exempt from the tongue one)? He would have been gutted I am warming to him, much more than I thought. But he does seem to have very wet lips which slightly disturbs me

I don't think it was a secret that they'd dated was it? I definitely knew about it before she went into the castle. Not the shagging in the palace, I admit... I did laugh at her story of singing IDAD to the Queen and various family and changing key three times because she was tipsy.

Does anyone else wonder what the medical conditions are that prevent them doing trials?

If I was then I’d be asking what it was to see if I could then work out what the trial was.

I suspect some of it is not medical conditions, more there is certain things they won’t do, so is written into their contracts. So for example, heights, or buried under ground, or spiders etc.

The main reason Ruthie was booked was because of her past with the Royals.
It was the only thing she kept being asked about in the interviews before going in.
I was surprised she spoke about it so soon on arrival. But 100% the producers wanted her to share some stories.
I was more surprised when she was completely edited out in the last week.

After she spilled the beans it was job done as far as the producers were concerned. Then background.

Yes, has Beverly done any? I always wonder if the producers can turn people down for the show if they can't actually do any trials or would that be discrimination?

I do think the poster who said maybe Russell couldn't do the head in a box trial due to having his tongue insured might have been onto something for his reason for being exempt.

Maybe Bev might be ruled out if they can't make the food/drink/tongue tasks vegan.

Do they never discuss it either? I'm all ways surprised when someone's exempt for so many it isn't brought up in camp - not in a horrible way but in a general discussion the camp mate themselves might explain to the others why they're exempt as they must all wonder it too?

I'd wondered that but at the same time if you were vegan I'd question why you'd go on the show in the first place..

Bev has had a recent hip replacement whuch is why she was exempt from a few.

She was exempt from the crown jewels one that Shane did, and then I think it was the tunnels one he did with Hollie. So I'd guess it's crawling that's the issue?

I know AJ and Jess crawled through the tunnel in theirs but I wonder whether it could have been adapted if Bev has been chosen.
