Vernon did text same woman again years later.

But yeh Tess forgave him.

So many grammatical errors

Sorry for that

BillysMyBunny · 29/11/2020 22:40

I don’t see why you’d necessarily prioritise the ones with kids - the celebrities have a choice on whether to accept the offer to be on the show and have made the decision that the money/ exposure etc is worth more than the time with their families. It seems over the top to be crying about missing their families when it’s something they’ve chosen to do knowing exactly what the conditions will be like, and let’s be honest it’s not like any of the celebrities are on the breadline choosing to do this to get their kids out of poverty. I get there will be hard days but bottom line is if they miss their families that much they’re free to leave at any time but clearly they all want the nice wage and career renovation they’ll get at the end of this. It’s like Jarvis Cocker said about the girl who wanted to get down with the common people; ‘you’ll never understand how it feels to live your life with no meaning of control, ‘cos if you called your Dad you could stop it all.’ It’s a false experience because if they want to they always know they can literally leave at any time so I feel a lot of the tears must just be for show.

Hearwego · 29/11/2020 22:40

Didn’t realise Russell Watson is 54... he looks much more youthful. I actually thought he was mid 40s...

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 29/11/2020 22:44

Also, they all have kids don't they? Except AJ and Jordan? So someone with kids would have missed out regardless.

Cherryberrypies · 29/11/2020 22:44

I’ve always just assumed that little to no contact with the outside world and hours with nothing to do cause emotions to run high when they get to this stage. I know if was showering in a dirty bathroom and sleeping on an awful bed, alongside everything else, I’d be upset to miss out on hearing from my family.

Hearwego · 29/11/2020 22:45

BillysMyBunny- couldn’t agree more.
What about soldiers, sailors who spend months away from home at a time? They don’t get access to Skype/ FaceTime in war zones for example. Or paid lots of money to do it. Even today we have service people including civilians ,who work around the world to protect us. Often with little choice. They sacrifice time with their families often missing Christmas and birthdays.
I’m sorry but these celebrities are already financially well off and get paid handsomely to appear to this reality show. It’s a few weeks for them.

@PolkadotsAndMoonbeams

I think they were running a bit late when Hollie went out.
Just seems unfair

Def being the first out

This has got to be one of the most boring series.

MaggieFS · 29/11/2020 22:48

I wouldn't be surprised if they feel they have to go all gooey and sad about missing home to win votes. Can't see anyone going 'it's five weeks, I know what I've signed up for, crack on'.

Personally it does annoy me and I've spent months in the past volunteering in some complete hell holes abroad, with no electricity or running water, in the days before mobile phones or the internet existed. I wish they'd just get on with things, but don't see it happening.

XmasHollie · 29/11/2020 22:49

This year is quite dull

icelolly99 · 29/11/2020 23:05

I understand why she was emotional but no one deserves special treatment....it's like the child who cries at a party just because someone else won the game...

Hearwego · 29/11/2020 23:08

I think it’s because there isn’t anyone controversial in this year to shake thing so up.
Lady C from a few years ago was quite unpleasant. I’m sure if they put someone like her in there she would ruffle feathers and upset people. Someone like Kim Woodburne would do that too. But everyone in there in the last few years has been pretty nice.

BenoneBeauty · 29/11/2020 23:10

I'm really enjoying it - I'm glad there is no one mean. This year is shit enough without having someone mean in IACGMOOH!

Gi has my vote!

icelolly99 · 29/11/2020 23:17

Ruthie's face when she realised what she's said about Prince Edward had gone out....!

IHaveBrilloHair · 29/11/2020 23:19

I'm loving this year because AJ is in it.
I've been a fan since he was on SCD, my friends take the piss out of me!

I'm pleased that the Uk don't have any really bad venomous animals roaming about! Most people I know freak out a house spider.

Standrewsschool · 30/11/2020 08:24

Who do you think will go tonight? Jess? She hasn’t had much airtime, until yesterday. She talked about Hollie being her camp sister, and was the first one to give up her treat.

covetingthepreciousthings · 30/11/2020 08:38

I think Russell might go tonight.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 30/11/2020 08:41

I feel a bit of affection towards Jess. She seems much younger than her age (my sister is the same age) and seems quite fragile. I think that will keep her in a few more days.

Are ITV possibly gearing up to get Gi doing some presenting? They've focussed on her lots lately especially the side of her that comforts the sad ones or comes in to the diary room and has quite well thought out conversations?

awaynboilyurheid · 30/11/2020 08:54

Just caught up , AgreeJess seems very fragile and like a little girl at times. Victoria’s trial was a joke she got her hands a bit messy that was it, then she made it into something much bigger than it was! I’ve never seen a camp mate return so clean. I went off her as she made out she was so tough it was a pigeon!
Noticed catalogue model Vernon not putting himself forward for the trial.
And yes in this house we shout your in WALES!!! When they start bubbling about missing their family .We know plenty of family who work away from home for a lot less money than this crowd get so no sympathy for Giovanni last night.

SanFranBear · 30/11/2020 09:07

Victoria was so dull - and that trial was ridiculous... and yes, to listen to her ot was soooooo terrifying Hmm

For some reason, I really like Russell and will be voting for him for the foreseeable!
