Following on from the last thread!

When they all met on the first day, Victoria said Jordan used to be her tea boy - I think they go way back.

That's why I mentioned the misplaced loyalty

He knows the programme he’s on. He knows bitching gets you airtime. He knows how to manipulate events to make himself sound better (see his ‘version’ coming out in the bush telegraph -or whatever it’s called).

He’s funny and fairly talented but he’s also been around a long time and had a lot of people blowing smoke up his backside for a long old time

The thing is, we don't know how many of them have said that, or what the conversations are because it's all down to what they show us. But certainly, based on what we saw tonight, I think Shane comes across as an unpleasant stirrer.

All my votes went on Shane so very pleased he's doing the next trial... he was pretty unpleasant today and whilst I am sure I would be absolutely horrid too, I really disliked the way he was bitching about the hot water and the trials.. and he called himself a legend!! Tongue in cheek or not, he sounds like a total tool and I hope he falls flat on his grumpy face!

Sorry - mean, but he really annoyed me tonight, and for the last couple of nights!

Oh and for the people asking about the sleeping, and drying clothes etc. Apparently there camp base is actually in a built studio, and the castle is used for trials. So I'd assume the temperatures won't be too bad.

Their camp is inside the castle in a couple of rooms and a courtyard. There is a massive marquee nearby which houses all the Winnebagos for makeup/editing etc.

I suppose this is the literal definition of get your ducks in a row

I'm shocked at them eating hare because they're a protected species here in Ireland. Looked better than some dinners they've had though.

I did a little whoop when Shane got voted for the trial after his complaining about Jess & AJ getting 6. The stinkier the better! 🤢

I thought their trial looked hard. They were obviously completely in the dark, you could tell by their slow movements.

I remember a trial before that was in the dark and whoever was doing thought they had moved to a new area but kept going over the same area?

Loving the niggling starting. It's always the middle aged fellas that get grumpy first. I've got one of those at home

Thank you. I looked up the castle and found it was a total run in and u safe so I wondered where they were. Makes sense it’s a studio. It will be warmer there.

How nasty of Vernon and Shane, OK, jess is scared and a little irritating but to say why did she bother going in! Glad Shane is up, hope it's a rough trial. I read before from people who worked with Shane saying he was obnoxious etc, didn't see that for the first week but his true colours are obviously showing.

Shane was a right dick tonight. If he'd just washed the pots last night after dinner when the fire would have still been going to boil his bloody water, there would have been no problem in the morning. But he "left them to soak" LIKE EVERY MAN IN THE WORLD

Me too, it’s been so dull, Shane is taking the flack on here for bitching but Vernon was joining in too and if it carried on like Walton’s Mountain for much longer it really would be like watching paint dry.

You saw AJ and Jess’ breath when they were walking to the trial in jackets, as soon as they got to the trial they were in short sleeves and no sign of cold at all.

Definitely heating in certain parts!

I noticed that about ant and dec breath as well! I wonder if camera lenses might fog in the cold.

It's what everyone says though when a contestant is shocked that they have to do horrible trials! Have they never seen the previous years?
Looking forward to Shane getting his comeuppance and plenty fish guts

Jessica won Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards today so that should cheer her up!

Shane got it wrong about Jess but he'll pay for it in the trial ! I don't think it really matters about him [and Vernon ] having a bit of a bitch though, men do it, women do it, look at the bitching about Giovanna in the last thread ! Its just life, doesn't mean it's a nasty trait.

It is more entertaining as things get stirred up but i remember really enjoying watching the Harry Redknapp year and I don't particularly recall infighting? I don't think it's necessary to make it watchable but without it, this year seems especially dull.
