Following on from the last thread!

They have a mangle and stuff plus hot water. But that’s proof positive they also have heating.

Nobody is getting clothes dry in a ruined castle in November without heat are they?

I’m not that bothered about that- they don’t after all want to kill them (as someone else said upthread!). Although I wish they were upfront about temperatures and conditions.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/11/2020 20:19

Do they have laundry detergent as well? Damp clothes in a damp castle would go mouldy pretty quickly. If they had a washing line outside it might dry, but they must have heating. Ant and Dec are wearing shirts and not looking chilly at all.

Fizbosshoes · 23/11/2020 20:45

I live in the home counties and been hanging washing outside most days if its sunny and only the thinnest things (or fleeces) dry completely at the moment.
Even inside thicker items take 2 days (and we obvs dont live in a drafty castle!)

ImAllOut · 23/11/2020 20:54

There's a lot of fire going on in there so that's probably helping with the temperature too.

unique1986 · 23/11/2020 20:55

Will there be any argument in there?
They are having a lovely time.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/11/2020 20:57

I hang my washing outside and on a windy day it’s doing ok, but it gets cold quickly and needs warming and a quick tumble in the dryer to get it dry.

I’m sure they aren’t washing and drying their clothes by hand.

unique1986 · 23/11/2020 21:03

Haha these tensions seem set up lol

unique1986 · 23/11/2020 21:03

Ps I never hang my washing outside.

Jellykat · 23/11/2020 21:05

Oo tensions at last.. well it was getting very dull!

bearlyactive · 23/11/2020 21:16

Surely that's not very nice for the ducks, being chased around the pen?

I suppose this is the literal definition of get your ducks in a row... well, pen...

I don't think the producers give a shit about any animals on the show tbh.. it's really disappointing that in 2020 stuff like this is still entertainment.

Still think the assault courses or crystal maze type tasks would have been a better way to go in the castle..

Did Fort Boyard (?) used to have so many animals? Some of their challenges used to be good I think ?

unique1986 · 23/11/2020 21:26

Boring Bev blalalal

Butterflyfluff · 23/11/2020 21:37

Bev’s stories about kebab in her hair or boot polish on her face are sooo cringeworthy

I doubt they’re even true

ImAllOut · 23/11/2020 21:40

This is more like it Grin

To be fair to them, if it’s truly pitch black it would be hard to find the stars.

ImAllOut · 23/11/2020 21:43

Yes it's pretty much almost impossible! I don't think the addition of animals was necessary to be fair.

Butterflyfluff · 23/11/2020 21:44

She knew exactly which way was out then though.....

Jellykat · 23/11/2020 21:44

That tunnel was lit, why couldn't they see, am i being dense?

ImAllOut · 23/11/2020 21:45

I assumed there was a crack of light from the door so they knew where out was?

peboh · 23/11/2020 21:45

That'll just be night view on the camera. You'd only see light looking through it.

RunningFromInsanity · 23/11/2020 21:46

I’m not sure it was lit, I think it was just the cameras making it look lighter.

Jellykat · 23/11/2020 21:46

Ahh i see!
