Following on from the last thread!

OP posts:

The trials are so boring and same old this year.
I just realised that Jordan prefer Bev outta all the women... he knows shes popular
He doesn't seem to like Jess or Ruthie.

jambeforeclottedcream · 22/11/2020 23:18

Was watching on +1

This writing their loved ones names' on their hats was such a cute idea

Still not warming to Victoria

I'm calling bs on Bev being vegan

Looking forward to Aj being in the trail tomorrow, he's not had much screen time

YardleyX · 22/11/2020 23:23

There used to be lots of disagreements and controversy over doing all the chores.

We’re not even seeing much of them doing any chores this year.

Who’s trekking out in the rain and carrying firewood all the way back???

unique1986 · 22/11/2020 23:26

It's stupid beyond words with the written names on hats and shout outs and hand signals every night.
I would rather just be shown a few minute segment once a week only with a quick yeh I miss my partner kids mum etc then move on.
It also shows how bad this series if all they care about or worried about is getting their silly messages across each night.
Such a waste of a reality tv show.
Talk about going through the motions and killing time till it's over.
Fine in the last 3 days but not in the two weeks of the show.

unique1986 · 22/11/2020 23:29

You didnt get this behaviour on celeb big brother.
It was if you miss your family too much to get fully involved with the show either quit or get evicted asap.
And CBB was on for 4 weeks.
Before anyone mentions isolation I'm a celeb people act like this every year.

ScottishStottie · 22/11/2020 23:30

@Lurkingforawhile

Is Bev doing the trials but still just getting the veg and rice? If so good on her! She doesn’t mention it. Mind you the pigeon looked rough.
They mentioned on the eating trial when bev had the fermented tofu to eat, that she should think of it as just like the tofu they had before. So im assuming they are sending in a tofu/equivelant ration for her
unique1986 · 22/11/2020 23:32

Viewers want to see a warts and all reality tv show. Not reading every campmates relative on their hats..
It completely distracted me. And took away from the show.

ScienceSensibility · 23/11/2020 02:18

Agree with you all, about the biscuits.

If I had eaten the massive roast dinner the night before, I would have been embarrassed to tuck into the biscuits and would definitely have offered mine up.

Pigeon is rank. I know it can cost a fortune when cooked by the likes of Marcus Wareing, but it is still flying rat! 😀

It's probably because they're from the South. Grin

I notice he picked a fellow from the north west for his deputy.

mommydragon · 23/11/2020 07:12

I think I will get annoyed watching Jess in the trial today. I hope she doesn't get voted constantly as from what I've seen, she's not even 'entertaining' like Jordan ( and he was atleast trooping on in spite of his fear). Jess is just going to faff around and lose the team their meals. They would've got all 12 stars in the girls trial yesterday if it weren't for Jess plus angered me that she wasn't even looking for keys like the others were.

Fizbosshoes · 23/11/2020 07:39

I thought the camaraderie of being in a team would have helped Jess but not sure if it did but she might actually go for it more if she knows theres no one else to help?
We were convinced Victoria Derbyshire would be really annoyed about not getting a chance to get stars but if she was they didnt show it.

Standrewsschool · 23/11/2020 08:15

I quite like Victoria being a strong female in there. She straight away voted for enduring the trial the longest. I don’t think she did it for a show-off reason, more of a can-do attitude.

I maybe wrong, but Bev seemed to get less gunge on her than the others. Her top looked a lot drier at the end, compared to those who were in the trial for a shorter period.

Lurkingforawhile · 23/11/2020 08:44

I thought Bev looked dry but then the nasty stuff seemed to be mainly over Jess and Victoria - it was coming down in quite narrow streams. Bev did well in getting the stars. Having not watched before do they always reiterate being gentle with the animals or is that because it's become more high profile this year?

Fizbosshoes · 23/11/2020 09:15

I wonder what the offal and fish guts would have been used for if not for covering celebs? (And is it the same stuff recycled from the other trials?) Where do they get it from? So many questions.

Theromanempire · 23/11/2020 09:29

I assumed Jordan picked Victoria because he has worked with her in real life. It had to be one of the females and he probably feels more comfortable with her as he knows her better than the others?

JaneJeffer · 23/11/2020 10:39

Probably comes from a dog/cat food factory @Fizbosshoes

awaynboilyurheid · 23/11/2020 12:36

Hope we can see some hint of personality from AJ as he's coming over very boringly bland for someone who thought he would have a TV presenter career. Jess will not cope well at all.
Jordan for king of the castle, or king of the North! all the way for me.

JaJaDingDong · 23/11/2020 13:06

Or sausages, fishcakes and the like for humans.

FlyingByTheSeatof · 23/11/2020 13:08

Victoria told Jordan she was a leader and that he was indecisive so he may be regretting his decision as misplaced loyalty. Unless they genuinely get on well enough to say stuff like that. He didn't smile when she said it

Definitely mentioning it more this year, probably because of all the publicity about animal welfare etc

When they all met on the first day, Victoria said Jordan used to be her tea boy - I think they go way back.

Cleanmean · 23/11/2020 19:35

It's a total bore fest this year. I'm not interested in their kids and partners names and silly hand signals. Giovanna is annoying me with her nose signal to the kids. She's so fake too, mumma g (vomit). She reminds me facially of Mr tumble, but at least he's paid to act silly.

You must be pretty easily distracted....Hmm it's not as if it's the finale of the wire, it's a pretty "fake" and light-hearted environment. I fail to see how some writing on a hat can put you off footage of, what...someone eating beans? It's not exactly high stakes tension...

I agree with everyone about the biscuits...but giving them the benefit of the doubt, are they allowed to share? Only because they also said about not sneaking them any food back from the feast which you'd like to think they would have as they didn't finish it all. Plus the others were all watching Giovanna and Mo cook because the 'new rules' said they couldn't help...just wonder if perhaps they're told things we don't see in the very edited footage (like leading them with discussion topics!).

Are the "washers" really going to clean those clothes? They seem beyond saving at this point particularly if you've only got a dodgy shower and mangle to work with!

unique1986 · 23/11/2020 20:08

I bet the celebs would stop signalling to their families and writing on hats if the producers threatened to take half their money away.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 23/11/2020 20:12

How do they wash their clothes. I’m convinced there’s a washer dryer somewhere.
