Yes, he was a funny one wasn’t he, Brendan... bit bolshie and not great with all his partners, but magic with Sophie I thought.

Brendan was strange. My late mil adored that man!

She was his favourite partner iirc. The Charleston week 2 should have got 10s. He appreciated her work ethic and musicality. She didn't tolerate any bullshit but wanted to work hard and do well.

Agree about their Charleston in week two, it was fab.

I’d quite like to see Brendan on the judging panel alongside Craig, Anton and Shirley...

Brendan was (is?) totally doable though. Had something very sexy about him that some of the Ken doll-eqsue, sexless men boys (ie AJ) are missing

I also really liked him with Kelly Brook and it was a shame she had to pull out

He was a very poor teacher and his choreography wasn’t great. None of his partners ever seemed to improve much beyond their initial capabilities, and he attempted to cover this by putting illegal moves in (back in the day when there were still rules for dances) and then getting bolshie and playing to his cartoon ‘bad boy’ reputation when criticised for it. Notably, Anastacia danced much better the week she was partnered with Gorka due to Brendan’s absence.

Also, his arse stuck out like a shelf when he danced Latin.

Incredibly for someone who did 15 series, he pretty much has only one stand-out dance (Charleston with Sophie, choreographed by outside choreographers).

But he did give us Snowdance, and for that I am eternally grateful. Memorable for all the wrong reasons, and well worth his 15 mediocre years on the show for its sheer ‘WTF?!?!’-ness.

Did anyone notice how Tess looked 'overbaked' on ITT last night. She must 've stayed in the tanning booth for too long. Notice also they answered questions about their dresses. (Tess didn't say that she thought she's save material with the off the shoulder look she seems to love!) What with Gethin,, a brilliant interviewer, who ought to do ALL of ITT IMO, and SEB it was very good!

Brendan played the full on Strictly Ballroom film character. Guarantee if I'd have been partnered with him there'd have been murder on the dance floor (sorry).

Yes, Brendan wasn't good at bringing out/on his partners. He always seemed impatient and overambitious.
