It always upsets me

That bit in the first series with the chip fryer - I still have nightmare & also the bomb in the briefcase - that really upset me

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 16/10/2007 17:35

I'll be watching. Think its gone down hill since Hermione Norris joined though - she gets on my nerves.

aquababe · 16/10/2007 17:52

hmmm thanks littleNonSpecificHolidaylapin
and thanks for the warning sfxmum

alycat · 16/10/2007 18:07

Have even considered cancelling my girls night out so as not to delay a drool over Rupert (god, even his name is sexy)but have decided that he'll be even better after a few glasses of Chablis and some gourmet nosh!

Sweet dreams girls

PS I'm buying all my girlfriends the Emma Bridgewater 'last night I had a dream about Daniel Craig' teatowels as I think yhey are amusing.

littleNonSpecificHolidaylapin · 16/10/2007 19:34

Oh I LOVE those, alycat!

Pennies · 16/10/2007 19:41

Katymac - apparently that scene prompted a record number of complaints. I remeber it well too, it was horrific. Still love Spooks though, but that might be more due to eye candy appeal.

Just wanted to say - YUMMY!

Bloody highlight of my year. Just got time to go and get a drink....see you after!

edam · 16/10/2007 22:06

Sigh... it was nice to see the delectable Mr Penry Jones again but I'm always distracted by how little he resembles his mother.

peggotty · 16/10/2007 22:09

It's enjoyable but really a bit silly - they all talk in daft soundbites, especially Harry 'well it's finally happened - after 300 years, there's a plague on the streets on london again...' delivered in doom-laden tones.

sfxmum · 16/10/2007 22:11

I expect he goes home to M&S food

ok watching ep 2 on bbc3 in a min

worried about Zaff they do dispose of agents with alarming regularity

for trivia fiends
do you know that the woman who played Adam's wife is in fact married to the guy who plays Mohinder Suresh in Heroes?

OP posts:
scampadoodle · 16/10/2007 22:11

Oh, who's his mother again, edam? She's an actress isn't she - is it Joanna David? No...she's Emily Fox's mother [twittering emoticon]
My friend used to live above a girl who was RPJ's serious girlfriend until he began to get famous He dumped her of course. She was really nice - told us lots of fab stories about being at luvvie parties with Ralph Fiennes & Francesca Annis billing & cooing in one room while an unsuspecting Alex Kingston was in another...

peggotty · 16/10/2007 22:12

Edam - Was just thinking tonight that Rupert Penry Jones has same eyes as his mum actually.

edam · 16/10/2007 22:15

angela thorne from To The Manor Born

MarsLady · 16/10/2007 22:15

Well I know the American ambassador in rl. He's a lovely man: Matthew Marsh.

Used to be in Chancer (or whatever it was called before it was called Chancer) with the delicious Clive! [lustful]

scampadoodle · 16/10/2007 22:17

Angela Thorne! Of course...knew it was a posh blonde. Who's his dad?

edam · 16/10/2007 22:17

actors, huh, scampdoodle. Faithless bunch, generally.

Peggotty, actually I can only 'see' his mum as an older lady so he may well take after her - will have to find a pic of her as an ingenue, or wait until RPJ is in his 60s!

If we're talking about TV totty with famous parents... Toby Stephens , anyone?

edam · 16/10/2007 22:26

I think poor old Zaff really has had it, this time.

edam · 16/10/2007 22:27

Toby is delish. I went to see Coriolanus four times! All that stage blood sticking to his shirt so you could see his pecs very clearly.

sfxmum · 16/10/2007 22:27

only as Rochester really otherwise just too Luvvy should rough up a bit
