The80s -you could be right. I’m firmly in the pro Maisie camp for now but it’s not a huge fan club I know.

I'm bracing myself for the newspaper articles about how we're all bigots because it's black celebs in the dance off. Problem is, they're the bottom three (four if you count Jojo as well) on the leaderboard. It's very unlikely they'll all be saved.

Although with two ties (one three way), it is possible somebody will do a leaderboard plunge.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the full naming was wierd.

I turned to DH and said "Imagine if I referred to you by your full name still, even after all these years" He shuddered. It would not be cute.

He was actually under his full name in my phone for about a year after we started going out. I used to think it cute back then. I'd show my friends with a tinkly laugh "Oh loooook! I haven't even gotten around to changing his name on my contacts! whatamilike!? HAWHAWHAWWWWW!!! (swig) "

But after a while it just seemed a bit cringe so I quietly edited it.

There are certain trigger words for spam (including the name of Another Site that spammed regularly when it was set up) and racist words (which seems unlikely I would have thought).

I'm pretty sure the pros get their themes, music and props forced upon them these days. I doubt Dianne or Janette had any choice, in fact those might've been the best of a bad bunch

The producers seem keen to do kid-friendly routines especially on the movie and musical weeks. Most aren't executed very well!

I wonder what pro dance shenanigans we're in store for tonight. Waltzing to Vera Lynn followed by skirts being ripped off to Christina Aguilera's 'Candyman' (again!)?
