I'm sorry to say it after her initial enthusiasm, but she talks to him like he's staff and he should be fawning all over her and her 'talent'. She's not coming across well at all.

iklboogey Dsis used to work in Make up at the BEEB she said the team ALL said how unpleasant CQ was. (IMO if anyone is rude to 'staff' then it says a lot about the person )

I agree that anyone who looks down on people who are doing the actual work ( be it the cleaning or make up or maintenance or hair is whatever it is ) isn't worth knowing! It's sad if she is like this.

It amazes me that CQ and Paul Merton were married, they are so unalike. Because he really is lovely and down to earth.

Sadly he looked too much like Jimmy feckin Savile for me to concentrate.

I did pause to shed my quiet tear at the Remembrance. Seemed even more poignant this year.

I thought that too - the emptiness round the centoaph was incredibly poignant. Made me think of what an empty country it must have seemed - and entire generation of young men - just gone.
