Russell was very poorly a few years back with a brain hemorrhage I believe? I've not seen him on tv for a long time. He used to be on it all the time at one stage in his career.

Bev and her ' best friends for life ' with Jordon. I bet they never see each other again after this has finished! 😃

I'm not so enthusiastic about it this year. Feels like they are filming it in a TV studio and quite staged. In the jungle it seemed the cameras were hidden but I get the impression they're told where to stand so the camera can film them having a chat - could be wrong of course!

lemon yes, I think they had ambitions to take over the TV presenting world as a 'brother' team but then COVID hit and the offers (if there were any) dried up.

But, if you consider how fake and uncharismatic AJ comes across as compared to Vernon, Ant and Dec who can clearly think on their feet and have natural charm, then I'm not sure the TV presenting was ever going to work out

But he is pretty to look at

Vernon isn't liked that much by some because his a bit of a bad boy but his good looks do get him through. If he was ugly and cheated like he did etc he would be hated on a lot more than he is! I don't know enough about him or what happened there to have an opinion though to be fair to him.

Shane is irritating , but he was good with Jordon and got him through the snake trail. He is , however , a bit two faced and I can see him blowing up at someone before his booted off! Someone might wind him up. Mo is sweet and AJ is too quite.
Jordon is lovely , but I could be his mum!
The girls seem ok. Bev I would get on with I think , she seems genuine. I love Victoria as I used to listen to her on five live. She is very sensible but I don't think she will win it. The newbies might be more volatile.

It's a shame Vernon isn't on telly more. I loved him on Family Fortunes. It's not the same with Gino. Vernon did a really good documentary in America years ago about Elvis. He's a natural at chatting to people.

I've seen the Kays out an about IRL. They are a very good looking couple, good looking family, but they seem quite normal.

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay are the best looking celeb couple going and neither are that young anymore either. Both Been around a while now and still got the looks and the bodies.
He does seem nice enough. It's sad there are those stories about him.
I wonder if anyone will bring it up in there? ..

@Theromanempire AJ certainly doesn't have the Charisma of the big presenters. And Curtis wasn't up to much on the dancing show as the receptionist either. I bet AJ wishes he'd stayed in Strictly now.

I remember reading the texts that were published at the time and there didn't seem to be anything really bad in them, just that he was missing his wife because she was working so much!

I agree and with the others too. But it is also down to the editing and what we are shown.
Lets face its its not like big brother back in the day when you could watch live feed, plus there is no extra shows etc.

I have also been reading people online saying their favs are Jordan, Vernon and Bev along with Shane being alright too.
But is it cos those ones have had the most air time??
If they had been background they probably would not be their favourites lol

It does seem like they just aren't showing AJ. Jessica hasn't done much but they keep showing her in talking heads.

Jessica seems ok : I bet when she gets a trial she will smash it! She looks tough.

I said before it began that Jordan will win. I'm a middle aged woman but I love listening to his shows on Radio 1! He's such a lovely lad - really down to earth. I had hoped that he'd be the same on IACGMOOH as he is on his radio shows as then everyone would love him and that seems to be the case. He doesn't come across as arrogant and full of himself like some DJs. I think what you see is what you get.

Giovanna is just getting on my wick. Sorry, but she is. As for Hollie, as soon as she said her name followed by "MBE" that was it for me.

AJ seems very bland and lacking in personality or charisma. We've not seen him doing or saying anything really and it's the quiet ones who always go first.

I don't think Mo will win as he seems a lovely bloke but a little reserved. The big characters are the ones who stay until the end.

I love that Jordan is a bit flirty with Vernon and Shane and they can just have a laugh about it.

It must be weird being stuck there with those other celebs. It's not the normal show we all know and all new to everyone plus they have had to isolate before hand too.
So even harder this year and so dark most of the time as well.

I did wonder whether that's why they're all getting on well and enjoying chatting and hugging, because we've all missed normal human contact for months.

I would say its still early days to predict winners.
