Will anyone be watching? I’m quite looking forward to it! Will be different with it not being in Australia this year. I haven’t heard anything about who is going in, has anyone?

I think Ruthie will fit in okay. Russell cause more disruption, as he’s another confident, assured male.

So far, Shane seems to be the father figure in the camp. I thought Vernon may clash with him, but they seem to be getting on fine. Jordan sees to mix well with everyone. AJ and Mo don’t quite seemed to have found their feet yet. The girls seemed to be settling in and forming a friendship.

Just thought, there’s no glamorise, reality-‘star’ this year.

Was Russell on celeb BB? Very dramatic and argumentative, or am I thinking of someone else?

They seem to be having a very easy time of it this year.

There’s no conflict because they’re all having great fun!

The eating trial was grim and they did very well at that, but living conditions look fab!

They’ve got loads of space, nice beds, pillows.

The Castle Coin challenge was ridiculously easy, and quite fun.

Can remember some dingo dollar challenges used to take all day, and they’d get so fed up, and then still not have any food.

That’s when conflict starts to arise.

Iirc they get a small bag each of rice and another of beans like a mini Ziploc bag. Whether that's for lunch and dinner I'm not sure.

I like it this year. The jungle was getting boring. Vernon has totally surprised me, I was expecting to hate him but he’s genuine and fun. Also love Jordan and Bev. I prefer it when they get on, as long as people are funny and not dull. Sure there are some dullards and nonentities in there but ain’t that always the case?

Yes they get a small allowance of rice and beans individually portioned out per 24 hours it’s up to them when they eat it.

In previous years they have rationed it even further to save for later in case they don’t get any stars. This has led to very hungry grumpy people!

I am already enjoying the castle more than the jungle.

Bev's amusing but annoyed me when she told Jordan she loved him and that they were friends for life. They've only known each other a couple of days. I suppose it shows how intense [and unreal] it gets in there .

Didn't he say "night night, love you" to her first butter? I remember we commented that he seemed to be using her as a mum figure a bit. He seems younger than AJ and Hollie somehow, but that might just because we haven't really seen them be scared yet (although Hollie seems quite no nonsense, I can't imagine she'll get as worked up. AJ is still flying under the radar a bit at this point).

Ahoy, I think everybody knew about R&R going in. And all doing a challenge together is unusual, plus the name of it, probably let them put two and two together.

AJ has quite surprised me how much of a non entity he is. He had a big personality on Strictly but doesn't seem to be able to hold his own here. My DC said he would get voted out as he hasn't done anything to be memorable. There is still time, but he's very disappointing.

It is very dark and gloomy in that castle!
Then it where A and D stand looks like it has a few mod cons but the rest is very basic and it must dark most of the time.
It's a shame AJ is so quiet , but it could be the editing. A few haven't done much yet.
Russell Watson is known to be a bit difficult I think. Ruthie was quite tough on dancing on ice. I think they will be big personalities!

I disagree - I always found AJ really bland on Strictly. He just stood there smiling and never really showed any spark (disclaimer, I never watch It Takes Two so he may have shown more personality on there ). I was not at all sorry to see him leave Strictly!

AJ has always come across as quite charisma-free on ITT, so it amused me last night that his quote on the ball was something about seeing himself as another Bruce Forsyth

maybe they chose him because he is nice to look at...but thats not such a selling point when they're wearing lots of clothes and very few photo ops for fit types in the shower/wandering about with not much on.

To add, hes way too young for me, but theres usually a few young good looking camp mates who get featured in the bikini/shower shots. He might have been signed up before they realised it was in Wales and he would be in an anorak most of the time!

Yes AJ was probably chosen for looks. He left Strictly to do TV work with his brother, but that doesn't seem to have worked out, so now he is trying this to up his profile again.

Russell Watson will cause arguments from the off. It's putting me off watching tbh. I can't even look at his smug face without being annoyed.
