The daylight hours must be such a logistical challenge for them. At least in Aus the sun's up for a significant portion of the day. Here they are only getting 8am-3pm of sunlight.

Especially if they've got them sleeping until 11. I hope they're putting some vitamin D in their rice and beans!

I'd have thought any of the more physical challenges (climbing etc) would be safer being done in daylight as well.

If it goes well, perhaps they'll consider alternating Australia and Wales?

Or they could do a Summer (Wales) and Winter (Aus) each year. Swap between celebs and average Joe's for each.

Simon Mayo was voted out first once for not speaking and being quite. His wife wasn't happy at all , but it happens with the quieter people. It must be hard to have a balance between the two esp with the likes of Shane Ritchie and the Corrie actress.
The Giovanne arguments is like reading a stay at home v working out the home thread on mumsnet! She is actually doing what the advice is normally on here ; earn your own money and pay into a pension ( if you can) plus as most celeb marriages tend to be a bit more flaky than most I don't blame her really ..
..Or to anyone these days earning their own money . I wished mumsnet had been around when I gave up my job years ago pre Internet! The advice can be very good and it sounds as if she's carved out a work life balance that works for her.

Theres always been wags and people in Im a celeb, lots of people go on because they have famous relatives. Shes written multiple books and has a successful podcast, she has interviewed many famous people. Shes very successful in the influencer field. Unless your a musician or a sportsman its not like most people on these shows are massively talented. I dont see much difference between a successful podcast and a successful radio show, or presenter or something

I do find her 'look how hard parenthood is' mildly irritating. Because if anyone has parenthood easy its her. And the I love my kids so much as if everyone doesnt love their kids, but its hardly a big deal.

Off the topic of giovanna I thought shane last night was a bit of a twat, coming into the camp and mocking how scared jordan had been. Its not like Shane wasnt scared himself. I felt bad for Jordan

I was impressed with Shane then he let me down when they got back to the others , so I think it's just his personality? I've known a few people like this : pretend to be your friend then diss you the minute they can! You quickly learn to avoid.
At least he got him through the trial , which was a feat as he was so scared. I wonder how the eating has gone?

Yeah I also thought that was let down.
I was a bit about Shane taking over the cooking and then saying he was making it up.it would have been annoying if there had been someone more capable who was able to make the food taste nicer!!

Shane could have got a lot of public brownie points (and let's face it, thats what he wants) if he has just come back to the camp with Jordan and said they were both scared stiff but did it in the end. Then Jordan could have elaborated as much as he wanted to. Shane just saw it as an opportunity but I think it might have backfired with the voting public.

I wouldn't go on this show as I'm not keen on any insects and I would be ill eating any grubs etc. This is a hardcore reality show compared to some.

I am terrified of spiders and, honestly, would not go even for a million pounds. Yes I would love a million but my fear of spiders is too great.

I'm sure Bev is fine without the Botox etc but they all succumb to it eventually. Must be the pressure of fame , plus having the money to spend on treatments etc.

i was thinking i hope it doesn't become The Shane show . Lovely that he supported Jordan in getting through the task but totally mean and unnecessary to make fun of him like that afterwards

Some horrible posts about Giovanna here. I will always love her (and Nigel) if only for The Baby Club which has helped to give me something else to do with DD during lockdown(s). She always seems nice, don't see any need for any vitriol to be honest.
