Ps that trial was so overrated. Dull in fact.

True! Although exposure for whatever it is they do can be very lucrative and lots of media workers haven't been working as much this year if atall.

It's money in the bank at the end of the day.

Dh and I sometimes muse "If I were famous and could be on any shows, what would we do?" Because getting to do I'm a Celeb is, sadly, only open to Celebs.

I think lockdown would be the perfect time to write a book or do Mummy vlogs and GF would be doing that so was quite surprised.

Giovanna is quite impressed with herself with writing so many books. Fair enough if shes talented. But it can come across a little wow I live in a mansion with my famous husband who is now a writer and I'm a writer too and have kids and life crazy and we have a perfect life bla bla.

Me and DD said we'd never sign up for it if we were famous because of the insects and spiders. (And last year that horrific challenge they did on top of a sky scraper on day 1 !!)....but I guess it would depend what you were offered. I'd choose strictly over I'm a celeb ...but I guess theres no guarantee of getting the one you want.
Some people seem to do a circuit of all the "celeb"programmes. I've seen iwan Thomas on loads of things but athletics is a pretty short career.

Giovanna is known through McFly and her brother being on towie which is how she started out as an author already known in celebrity circles but is successful in her own right. She seems really fun and pleasant on her social media and vlogs and I think it's really unkind to make mean comments just about someone being a mum that's done nothing to warrant it!

I think someone like her comes in for a lot of stick because she's only become famous because of her husband, rather than through her own achievements. Does anyone think she would have got books published so easily if her husband wasn't famous? I think a lot of the stuff they do together is seen as smug and attention seeking.

I really don't get the hate for Gi. She's a nice person who has made a career for herself in that parenthood sphere, exactly the same as plenty of other people. She has done absolutely nothing to warrant such vitriol. Very 'mean girls'

And so what if her husband is famous? I didn't hear all this crap when Roman Kemp was in it, he's only famous because of his dad!

She's been enabled to do so, because she didn't need to actually work for a living, just like a lot of other women on insta. They can afford to spend their days wittering on about babies, homes, fashion or whatever, having totally pointless 'careers', because they are married to high earning men.

They did the same when another Khan was on it. They gave him halal meats. When he had to do the eating trail, they purposely gave him all the fish stuff. Like fish eyes and guts and the other contestants pig . They even let him go off to pray.
