Anton has to.. but I can almost guarantee non of the other pros would go down that route straight off the bat.

Why is it that he always uses comedy as a fall back? I don't think it's fair to the celeb. I also wonder if it comes down to his choreography?

I suppose it's this way or dressing up as your profession and doing a cheesy dance around that. But how would that be possible if you're an MP. And hasn't been done by either Ed Balls or Anne Widdicombe

Thanks Fuzzy Natalie!! There is something really lovely about her. In the Strictly For Normals a few years ago, she couldn't have been nicer. Not sickly sweet though.

Hi, I have commented a couple of times, but have lurked for the last couple of series, often watched on a delay, so have tried to follow on the thread as I am watching. Hopefully will be able to watch live most weeks, so will try and join in the chat occasionally this series. I have no technical knowledge whatsoever, so my opinions are definitely of the shallow kind.

I'm looking forward to the dresses. You don't really get to see them standing up long enough in the launch show to get a good look.

Hello, are we all ready for the first dances? Looking forward to it, but will be a bit behind as have to have tea first, does anyone know if there’s voting tonight? Seems weird that it’s Halloween next week but no special.

I love Johannes' dancing, I would love his dancing even if he was a bit of an arsehole but he's not at all arseholey. I really admire that he dances with joyous abandon, like Susan Calman did but with actual dance talent. When they do the pro dances there are some that make me perk up and watch intently like Johannes, Oti, Giovanni (if he's the bad guy) and Gorka, and there are some that give me the urge to go and stick the kettle on like Anton, Neil, Karen and Amy.
