Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

Woman-from-past following Johnny’s cab and then confronting him in a bush shelter was a bit daft. He could have been a complete nutter and gone for her with a knife for all she knew. Also, wasn’t she too young to be the security guard’s mother if this was all meant to have happened 40 years ago?

The Johnny and jenny bit just didn't ring true. Was she cross with him or not. One minute she was telling him she despised him, next minute she was fine with him. Even Johnny looked puzzled!

Perhaps Violet could return and they could go and live together and give Eileen some space.
The Jenny story makes a bit of sense, she felt secure in the pub. But the backstory...

Jenny also seems to have completely forgotten that she ran over Liz when drunk and they Johnny helped her cover it up. He wasn’t in a rush to bring it up either. It’s almost as if the writers have forgotten...

The dead security guard's mother acted that scene so well. This seems to getting a thing with Corrie - other actors do a short cameo in one episode, then disappear, having acted so much better than the regulars - like the young mum in the PND support group talking so movingly about her baby.

And Jenny's dad was Alan Bradley. So I would have expected more understanding from her especially when she abducted a child and has not been very pleasant in the past. Feel sorry for Jonny
