And it looks like Rafa will be on quite late tomorrow- depending on how long the previous matches are.

The Thiem/Schwartzman match has potential to be a long one.

They were doing the Mexican wave in Paris the other day but I think they were just trying to keep warm

I want to know when Rafa is on tomorrow so that I can plan my day!

I saw a bit of Stef earlier and a little bit of Djok but managed to miss the arm thing - I didn’t enjoy the Djok love fest by the commentators

Fizzy it is very strange. All I can think, is they have transferred their obsession with Roger on to Djok. Because they rarely give Rafa any credit unless it's obviously a white wash.

I know Raahh - they seem to keep forgetting that Rafa’s won it 12 times and has been playing pretty well so far

It's very odd. And very disrespectful really.

Fortunately, he has a huge fanbase.

I will be very unhappy if Djok wins. He will then have done what Rafa keeps failing to do (Roger will never win another RG)- win all the slams, at least twice.

I want Rafa to win in Australia, and be the one with that stat to his name.

It's really bad- but I keep hoping someone in his team tests positive, and he is out. Even though he has 'had' it, apparently, we don't know enough to assume immunity- or how long that immunity lasts.

I'm not able to watch at the moment- Jane what has Sascha done ? Had a test?

I also hope Rafa doesn't end up clashing with Bake Off tomorrow. .

I haven't seen any GBBO so far because of the football.

Jane that is a big relief- given the number of people he potentially put at risk.

I'm not sure he has the moral high ground with journalists, though, next time they criticise him.

Grr. Football. (Dh runs an under 15's girls team. He has also ended up being the fixture secretary, which is rubbish at the moment. )

I had a really strange dream - I was shopping, and Ons Jabeur was there wearing a mask with koalas on.

Iirc, Ons is from Tunisia- and I'm quite sure koalas have never been spotted in North Africa.

I didn't see what she bought. She was just in the self checkout queue.

My dreams are really boring.

I'm making her go into school for less than 2 hours. I'm mean like that. .

I had a dream the other night that the queen was at my work and my manager didn’t believe that I had a dentist appointment. The Queen was just sat there in a blue suit with her handbag on the desk -I had been reading about the new series of the Crown!

I think Diego might cause an upset unless Thiem has managed to recover from his last match - he did look exhausted

Fizzy thank you. I love your dream about the Queen. I think I dreamt about Ons, because looking up details of her match was probably the last thing I did before falling asleep.

I definitely think Diego could upset Dom. I'm not sure it would count as a big upset, since Diego is obviously a great clay player. They are really good friends, and know each other's game very well- so it should be a great match.

The hospital timings are spread out over the afternoon- we are due there at 12.30 to see the surgeon, but her covid test is not till 2 (in a different hospital 10 minute walk away- Manchester city centre has a number of hospitals all sort of together), and then back to the children's hospital for a blood test at 4.30. It's a bit daft really. And it's not like we can really go anywhere- most of the cafes are shut.

I'm still confused as to why I don't need a covid test, when I will potentially be on a ward with several other parents and children I have never met. I just hope we are not expected to sit there in a mask 24/7. I won't be able to see through my glasses .

We are in for a fun afternoon.

I have visions of Collins winning the trophy and standing there with a face like a slapped arse.

Well, we are back. DD2 got quite distressed during the appointment, and the covid test was not fun. But at least we got the bloods done a lot earlier. We now have to isolate til Friday (which we had asked about, and were originally told we wouldn't need to).
