And now the comms narrative is how bwavvve he is to overcome his neck/shoulder/piles/Tourette’s/ingrowing toenail and ooops, win the match.
I bet PCB is well pissed off with him.

I went to watch Bake Off as I couldn't bear to watch - I think if he ever wants to play mixed doubles he & Serena would make a good pairing

I think what it is about Novak is that whilst I have seen him play and play amazingly there seems to be no passion - I mean Roger is super starched white clothes wise but plays so beautifully & as if it matters ( have only seen him play at Wimbledon & ATP London) whereas Novak seems robot like and tries too much gamenshio - anyhow there's no doubt he is supremely talented and is driven to achieve. Perhaps I just like the passion .

I want a Kvitova/Swiatek final. I have always liked Petra, she has been through a lot, and has been very emotional this week. Swiatek seems lovely- and is a massive Rafa fan . She said in her press conference he was the only player she watched growing up, and she wants him to win.

So she's ok by me .

PCB has criticised Djok for always calling for the trainer when he is in difficulty in a match - good for him!

Apparently Djok played better after getting a drink from his Team and some dates (surprised it wasn’t figs from his magic tree!)

Good for PCB speaking up. Djok has been pulling the trainer stunt since he first came on the scene - it's one of the reasons I have never liked him. Everytime he was losing- out would come the trainer, to stall things, buy a bit of time.

Isn't it funny how the commentators never notice.

The commentators yesterday really got on my nerves. They have critcised other players for going off court for treatment, for having trainers on. And I thought there were limits to the number of times the trainer could be called for the same injury. I'm sure he got his arm looked at more than twice in that match.

I mean- maybe he didn't But it felt like .

I wish I had some of whatever was in that drink to make my aches and pains magically recover - maybe he didn't calculate his exacting diet properly and needed a sugar rush or similar ?
