I think the problem with showing Julian’s death is that it is implied he died in a “sex game gone wrong” so not really conducive to portraying on a family show!

Watched the Christmas special last night, it was just what we needed. It made me well up at the end with the sing song. Really lovely. I hope there'll be a third series. I'd like a few more character back stories too.

One of the parties where Julian was flirting in the flashbacks was the library at Button House, so he must have died there at some point.
