CV's baby at 11 weeks. well, she is a big baby.

'i don't really care what they say' says CV of the WHO.

am watching ep 4 btw. i think they just said that despite the WHO guidelines, over half of all babies are on solids by 12 weeks. is that right? blimey. dont' want to get into a when to wean debate btw, more a are ch4 really allowed to promote all this kind of thing?

hunkermunker · 03/10/2007 22:53

She doesn't care about anything baby-related though, it would seem.

Certainly not the babies. Why would the WHO know more than CV, in CV's world?!

MarsLady · 03/10/2007 22:53

Will it never end! Was out today and heard a couple of young women discussing the "show" and saying that it was inhumane!

hunkermunker · 03/10/2007 22:54

Over HALF of all babies?!

at those who say "well, allergies are on the RISE, so weaning babies later isn't working" when CLEARLY most babies are stuffing down pies by the time they're 3mo.

AitchTwoOh · 03/10/2007 22:54

now they're talking about how to resume sex life with a baby. oh fgs!

puffylovett · 03/10/2007 22:55

yes but aitch, is she BLWeaning ?

If so, maybe we should forgive her all her sins and welcome her with open arms

hunkermunker · 03/10/2007 22:55

Aitch, do they interview Mick Jagger about that aspect?

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 03/10/2007 22:55

CV the Hag is fucked up. I take it isn't being shown as a ohmygodyoujustshouldn'tdothat?

Can't we get together and throw breastmilk over her or something like the red paint on fur wearers?

NoBiggy · 03/10/2007 22:56

It's the certainty of the very, very stupid.

Wish she would just piss off

AitchTwoOh · 03/10/2007 22:56

no, the wee baby was lying on her back in a beanbag and getting porridge spooned into her mouth.

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 03/10/2007 22:59

Aitch come and snigger at my giraffe line. It is being neglected over here

AitchTwoOh · 03/10/2007 23:04

i have just read a thread about katy's lentil weaving nursery and not seen a single smirk-worthy line about a gir-sodding-affe.

OP posts:
MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 03/10/2007 23:07

Not even at 22.32

VeniVidiVickiQV · 03/10/2007 23:07

We should pin CV down and forcefeed her b/milk and slop. Then shove her outside for some fresh air.

Fuck it if she cries, she's only seeking attention.

MeltingandScreamingIcarus · 03/10/2007 23:08

I thought it was funny

AitchTwoOh · 03/10/2007 23:08

PMSL, teh twins' mum and dad are having a party and their guests are asking to see the babies and being told no because they can't break the routine. the guests are looking... at them like they're wankers i think the word is askance.

OP posts:
barbamama · 03/10/2007 23:09

I she INSANE - what about the proven medical research that shows that babies suffer kidney damage if weaned before 18 weeks I think it is?!!!!

I know 100's of people with babies and one family has weaned at whatever the medical minimum is - 18 weeks or whatever it is. i don't know anyone who did it at 12 weeks. Vast majority of non-MN RL'ers around 5, 51/2 months. Lot sticking to the 6 months guidelines as well.

What a stupid, stupid woman. And how does that CM not know better?

TwoIfBySea · 03/10/2007 23:09

Aitch you are like a little preview into what to watch for next week!

I Skyplussed the last episode and just watched it. Listening to the twins screaming their lungs out almost made me sick. Anyone else noticing that "her" babies are not really making eye contact with anything while all of the other babies seem much more aware of their surroundings, much more awake?

I wouldn't trust CV to look after a hamster.

AitchTwoOh · 03/10/2007 23:09

Mwah hah hah, i've seen it now. a head above the rest. i do love you, PI.

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 03/10/2007 23:12

Aitch - scottish xmas do - are you coming?

thread here

moondog · 03/10/2007 23:13

I don't watch tv but reading your comments makes me feel quite ill

1.) As a salt in terms of communication and attachment
2.) As a salt in terms of our filed of expertise as feeding specialists. The feeding lying down is fucking dangerous.
3.) As a behaviour analyst (she is using laws of reinforcement in a dangerous and unethical way that would be ILLEGAL in my work.

This tv as sociological experiment is getting seriously out of hand.

hunkermunker · 03/10/2007 23:14

Waste of good bmilk, I think.

Milk of human kindness and all though... Nah, she'd sour it.

hunkermunker · 03/10/2007 23:16

MD, you wouldn't believe it. I wouldn't if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. It's in-fucking-credible.

moondog · 03/10/2007 23:17

It sounds seriously worrying.
