AnTHony and Nadia - do we think:
A) he was never attracted to her
B) thought she was pretty but was appalled by her pic and mix approach to jobs and her frankly inadequate fridge etiquette
C) is still attracted to her but won't share his erratic internet with anyone

Mr Eau doesn't mince his words and can be a tricky character himself at times. 25yrs has softened his edges somewhat but he still has more 'travelling to do on his own particular journey'. I would hope he would write STAY though on his etch a sketch?! I'd write KNOBHEAD on my etch a sketch if he didn't...The experts I'm sure could give me helpful tips and commentary, as I wrote a long heartfelt letter about walking through a door together, that would complete our journey.
Hmm, how could AnTHony not think Nadia was attractive, she was beautiful. I'd go for b) but think he is a less nice early Chandler from Friends, where he focuses only on the negatives of his partner and thinks he can do better. Until he wakes up at 55, bald, starey eyed and alone, except for his racing job and 'the lads'...

So I just had a conversation with Mr Eau, asking if he would watch the next MAFS. He said yes, he would commit to this experiment" So it sounds like he's a) got my back b) listened to his gut c) making a journey d) giving it his all and e) doing it from day dot. Excellent.

Mr Eau sounds really committed to the experiment. He trusts in the experts, he’s listening to his heart and his gut, and taking it a day at a time. It’s all any of us can ask of him.

I think Mr Tinder might not be as open to the process. I think he’s got my back, but at the end of the day he’s not opening up about his feelings enough to really let the experiment in. He probably needs some kind of bootcamp. I’ll sit him down and show him so photos of us watching MAFS a couple of weeks ago, and see if that rekindles things. If that doesn't do it. Nothing will.

I feel like Jesse. Mr Eau is Sharon. I’m not sure what to say (though I do have a good tip about how to fake your own death, but I’m saving that for emergencies).

I’m sure it’s B too. His eyes lit up when he saw her, and genuinely seemed pleased with what he saw. I think when she wouldn’t kiss him straight away ( cos you know him and his spoonhead couldn’t fathom a woman not falling for his beauty and charm immediately ) and she wasn’t all hugging and sprawling all over him so that including the reasons stated in the B option, was all too much for him. Plus she wasn’t letting him get into her knickers and that really frustrated him.

Basically, I really want to be able to commit to the next series, but I’ve been hurt before - too many recaps and ads - and I just don’t know if I can let anyone in.

Oh yes. Anthony totally thought Nadia was a hottie, but she wasn’t that impressed. I think that’s part of why he had to win her over and win (by dumping her) regardless of whether he liked her or not.

I don't know what to say except all Mr Eau's gut tends to tell him is when it's time for tea

I think we are looks at

D) fancied the rse off her and still does - is desperate to shg her but knows she wouldn't be quick to jump into bed with him even if they moved in together - she would wait for her feelings to grow. As a result he's like the Fox and the Sour Grapes - pretending he doesn't want her, but because he's so controlling he couldn't let her be the one to make the decision - ego wouldn't let him.

(Mmm - that's quite long for a "D" - could include an "E"< "FE" nd "G" as well)

We need to know if he’d be willing to move for you, Eau. You’re going to have to move to somewhere Australia-Far like... North Africa? Only then will we really know that he’s a keeper.

I'd do a Susan I think, not moving to the middle of nowhere without a John Lewis, my mum or aircon. Limits things somewhat

Ooh my husband has just said he doesn’t mind if I want to watch the next series (after a weekend of suggesting boring series that he likes instead as it’s his turn!)

I asked dh if he’d support me in watching the next series, he said he wanted to be there for me in whatever I want to do with my life.

That’s so true. I know it. Deep down. I know it doesn’t matter how lovely he is, if he doesn’t have my back then who will?

Just in case I’ve got it wrong; how would I know if he had my back without the words being stated?

It's all in a look, but you do need false eyelashes to flutter and only when cameras are rolling.
All backs are exposed when there are no cameras around.

Bugger, I just don’t think I have the kind of back that can be got. It’s just standard. No alterations at all. Maybe it’s the kind of back that just needs to be left alone. Maybe - just maybe - it’s the kind of back that already has its own back.
