Hello All.

I hope it's bonza that I took the liberty of starting a second thread - just didn't want us gong walkabout in the bush (pardon my Fronch Grin) if we ran out of the other (whoops did it again!)

Anyhow, she's going out with a cricketer whilst he's still single so guess she wins

He's not really attractive, either is he?

I mean - superficially he looks quite good, but there is nothing behind that plastic expression and those unblinking fish eyes.

And once you've heard him talk to, and about, other people - especially Nadia, any surface gloss just shrivels and disappears like snow of a summer roof.

OP posts:
BlogTheBlogger · 05/08/2020 23:16

I really think he should just out himself, it's pretty obvious Nadia wasn't his 'type'. He was just messing her around the whole time.
When they actually clapped his arrival Hmm pathetic

I can't stand Scarlett but I agreed with her re Cheryl asking her for a chat. Was so set up, and didn't mean anything. C couldn't even remember his name Grin apparently

Lardlizard · 05/08/2020 23:21

The comment about the knickers was made when Scarlett was beef all silly and saying can you rescue me from a tree to nasty Andrew

Eaumyword · 05/08/2020 23:21

Yes to it being weird Cheryl trying to tackle Scarlett over Jordan, err, Jonathan! Cheryl told Jonathan early on she didn't fancy him to his face, so why would she feel betrayed by him texting someone else?
I genuinely think Anthony is a nob, but am also convinced he was made to enter the dinner party at that late point for the drama factor.
Lauren seemed quite hyper tonight?
Tomorrow should be great with the 'boy's night' footage - I think Andrew will be squirming!

Lardlizard · 05/08/2020 23:22

Siam and Sean the only real ones, really
Simon and arlene like each other a lot bit I see no spark at all there
And although alotnof marriages end up like that ! They shouldnt reAlly start like that !

Lardlizard · 05/08/2020 23:22

Lardlizard · 05/08/2020 23:24

Tomorrow night will be pop corn night !
Nasty Andrew
“I can’t remember what was said that night “
Bs

Honeyroar · 05/08/2020 23:24

Yes he was totally set up to go in late. They all appeared as they were being spoken about in conversation. I’m so not watching the next series!!

AnneOfQueenSables · 06/08/2020 01:02

AbAndrew is such a horrible person. All the sleazy comments and he couldn't even blame being drunk because they were at the start of the night. He's gross. I'm glad he doesn't teach any more. I'd hate to think of the inherent sexism in his approach to everything.

I quite like that Michael just did the bare minimum to get paid - turn up, have a few drinks, eat his meal and get out. I know most of you didn't like him but I respect that he's not getting into manufactured drama and that he didn't try to stay in the show for as long as possible when the relationship didn't work for him.

Scarlet is awful! Planning to flirt with Jonathon, then moving on to AbAndrew (when she found out Jonathon had a gf) and then trying to flirt with Michael when AbAndrew was talking to Lauren and then trying to get onside with Jonathon again by bitching about Cheryl. She's definitely not a woman's woman.

lilgreen · 06/08/2020 08:25

I also respected Michael for leaving so soon. He didn’t have so much time to bond with the others so probably felt out of it. Shame Scarlett didn’t go earlier too, she seemed even more silly than before. Cheryl was daft for pulling her out though, totally not worth it.

lilgreen · 06/08/2020 08:26

Oh god Debbie!!! She’s deluded.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 06/08/2020 08:29

I’m so not watching the next series!!

I'm going to try to avoid the next series - I have a horrible suspicion that ifI even watch single episode I will be lured to my doom again!

But having said that - I've so enjoyed the craic!

I quite like that Michael just did the bare minimum to get paid

Agree - and I used to like it when he put the "experts" on the spot, but he was a really arrogant, nasty man, and was unkind to Scarlett. I don't like her, but she was like a kicked puppy all of the time. No excuse for that.

OP posts:
BlogTheBlogger · 06/08/2020 08:41

Deluded Debbie, saying that John should have got her a drink Hmm not sure why he should have, the other ladies seem able to manage it!!
Wonder if her 'order' of Polynesian man arrived? Hopefully not for his sake!

RozHuntleysStump · 06/08/2020 09:19

It’s worth watching just to chat about it! Can’t wait for a new one!

It really irritated me when the experts were saying things like "ooh it's clear that some people don't want to sit next to their ex partners"
Eh, why would they?!?!? Why would John sit next to Debbie?! Why would Scarlett sit next to Michael, or Cheryl next to Jon??

Verdita73 · 06/08/2020 09:45

@RozHuntleysStump

It’s worth watching just to chat about it! Can’t wait for a new one!
I think all the entrances last night were timed for maximum impact . I can imagine them all crowded in a small ante room waiting for the director to shove each one in at the right time . I bet AnTHony tried to push in several times to get most exposure . I think he believes everyone thinks he’s a top guy . I hope in the next series we get at least one couple that we can invest in .
Lardlizard · 06/08/2020 09:46

Also the experts saying oh look at Micheal leaving early
Running away Hmm
He’s not mates with them, he’s turned up and don’t blame him and Scarlett for leaving early

As for Debbie, I shouldn’t have to ask for a drink
Who does she think she is
John got out quick and well there he deserves someone lovely

Feel a bit sorry for Nadia but she did turn blurry beggy on the last couple of episodes
Started off being I’m not moving for anything other than love
To just throw me a crumb, my apartment lease is up, please say you want me to come to Sydney !
I can see you don’t want me to come to Sydney but I’m gong to keep asking ......🧐

The experts have deliberately put opposites together

BedknobsNoBroomsticks · 06/08/2020 10:50

Just caught up on last nights episode.

It was all drama for nothing. I knew what happened between Nadia and Anthony. He did it all just for the cameras.

Scarlett is not a woman's woman. She seems to flirt with any man within her gaze to try and make another man jealous.

Abandrew is a complete and utter woman hating knob. I hope that he is single forever.

Tomorrow nights episode will probably be an anticlimax. Wouldn't it be great if they showed the boys night film and the twins and everyone else told him that he was absolutely out of order. It won't happen though.

Honeyroar · 06/08/2020 11:07

It’s interesting, isn’t it, that Micheal, who came across so badly in the early episodes, looked the smartest and most sensible last night! He also sounded like he was pretty lived up and settled in a new relationship.

Scarlett is incredibly insecure and needs another man’s attention immediately if she gets rejected by a man. But she’s way OTT leaning on them and flapping her lashes at them.

Abandrew is a pretty hopeless character. He needs someone next to him backing him up and to laugh at his bitchy jokes (ie Anthony or Scarlett) or else he’s a nervous wreck when talking to someone strong (such as Cheryl’s dad or Lauren).

Honeyroar · 06/08/2020 11:10

I wouldn’t be surprised if Sharon kicks off at Nick when she sees the clip of him hinting at leering at Cheryl’s boobs. To be fair they are enormous on her and she had them sticking out of cutaway tops whenever she can!

CatkinToadflax · 06/08/2020 12:21

Scarlett seems extremely immature. She reminds me of a lovesick 15 year old!

I hooted at Cheryl pointing out to Anthony that he was being unusually quiet during the dinner and usually had plenty to say! Grin

AnneOfQueenSables · 06/08/2020 12:37

Scarlett looked as though she couldn't understand why Michael wasn't taken in by her 'I go to the gym now and am starting a $1mill business and moving to Perth'. Grin
My DS (who admittedly is a bit of a neat freak when it comes to clothes) was Shock at her suitcase. He couldn't get over how messy it was. He has obviously inherited my super packing skills. Grin
I keep forgetting how old these people are. They act like teens ... although I have met some teens with more self-awareness than AbAndrew, Scarlett, Jonathon.

Eaumyword · 06/08/2020 15:28

I'm really laughing at the comments on this thread, it's brilliant!
I also did the Shock face at Debbie expecting a drink to be magic-ed over to her! Her match, John, did well to remain gracious and good humoured as she is HARD WORK! I wonder if she did get her 'Polynesian side order'. She's had a side order of crazy, that's for sure...Grin

Honeyroar · 06/08/2020 15:35

Poor John always looks a nervous, baffled wreck around her and wants to run for the hills. He tries to be as polite and straightforward towards her as he can, but she always snipes at him and tries to make him look at not nice, when in reality she makes herself look bad!
