I went to the supermarket. No queue today. Yay! The weather has been nice here for a change.

The graduation party went well thanks all - my friend said that I should have played 2 hours of boring speeches and then shouted DS’s name out at the last minute for an authentic graduation ceremony experience

The scones went down well and I also made cupcakes with little mortarboard hat decorations (I like a theme!)

We had rain so had to try to socially distance mainly indoors - my DM needs a few lessons on social distancing . I had to keep telling her off!

There just doesn't seem to be anything on the tv at all- all the soaps I watch, have run out of episodes.

I usually have a backlog of things to watch- and I keep finding myself watching The Simpsons .

The only soap I watch is Emmerdale and they are back filming and airing on three days but it's social distancing and it makes it a bit awkward! No snogging or fighting

Holby is back, but I'm not sure how long it is before the 'socially distanced' operations will kick in.

I’m catching up with Gardeners World - life on the edge (although there was a high number of ladybirds this week - there should have been a warning for ladybird phobes like me! )

Judy Murray is on Masterchef later this week - I read that she usually cooks with a glass of wine in her hand (a woman after my own heart!)

Masterchef is about the only 'new' thing I have to look forward to this week- and to be honest, it is not something I usually watch.

DD2 had to do a Google meet Year 5 transition meeting today. I look horrific on camera, and am glad I do not have to do this often. Half her class were on it though, and she hasn't seen them for months, so it was quite nice. At least we got some info for September (Primary are being really quite sensible).

I think the term Celebrity is being used very loosely in this series of Masterchef but I am looking forward to seeing Judy.

I always look horrific in videos as well Raahh - it’s weird watching yourself - I try to avoid if possible.

I've just done a quiz on a decluttering thread and I'm a butterfly. But of course! It really annoys me that they put the y on a different line. I'm moving more like a caterpillar today.

I’ve got a few hours to myself today - everyone was in the house yesterday - it gave me the rage!

I think my vacuum cleaner must be on the way out - I only used it for 10 minutes before it ran out if charge - oh well!

I experimented with a cloth mask for shopping this morning - it was a definite improvement on the blue hospital type ones - not as weird smelling

It still seemed weird queuing outside a supermarket wearing a mask - I don’t like the new normal!

That's good to hear about the cloth mask as well. My friend has kindly made us some and she dropped them off earlier - they do look a bit more comfortable I must say.

Probably just as well Private. I think it's too risky to go ahead with anything in the states.

I also had the rage yesterday. I'm fed up of nagging everyone to do things and stop making such a mess.

Washington cancelled Private? Surely that can only be the start of cancellations. I'm just not confident of anything going ahead, not in a way that is fair, or safe.

I know what you mean Jane - it drives me mad that I’m the only one who seems to do food shopping, cleaning and cooking - there are 4 adults here and 2 of them aren’t doing very much - grrr!

I agree that Washington is just the start of the cancellations Raahh - I think there are still travel restrictions between states in the US never mind international travel.

Wonder if the French Open will go ahead? I think France has had a rise in cases recently

I've been reading that Spain is seeing increasing numbers of Covid cases- I am not at all confident that any tennis is going to happen any time soon, anywhere.

It feels more and more like this year should just be written off- but I really want Rafa to equal Fed's slams!

At the is rate Jane it might just be Stan, by himself, playing against his team of friends.

I noticed Stan posted about practicing on clay with RG tennis balls so hopefully that's a good sign? I could imagine him setting up a game vs bears though!!

I also saw some pics of Rafa's new boat yesterday - not too shabby!!

The Delpo also said he was back on court practicing but the knee still bothered him, so I'm choosing to consider just the more positive bit of that statement

I have just been reading about Rafa doing a 'live' practice session. Think it's tomorrow, but not sure where you can watch it.

I am more and more convinced, that if any tennis goes ahead, there will be a US/European split. Which is unfair on those with a lot to lose rankings wise, really.
