Something to replace Ozark

We've just finished Ozark (which is amazing) and until season 4 drops we need something similar to fill the gap. So please give me your gripping, well acted and written, multi episode drama recommendations!

We have watched and enjoyed The Sopranos, The Wire, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Homeland, Line of Duty, Happy Valley, Sons of Anarchy, Sherlock, Snowfall and probably many more I can't think of right now. We have Netflix and Prime.

Recently finished ozark and felt the same. Replaced with Breaking bad on Netflix

I meant to say, I also hated Ozark. Got to about episode 6 and decided I couldn’t be arsed finding out what happened next.

Money Heist

The Shield is on All4 in its entirety and is IMO the best TV drama ever. Absolutely amazing. Justified is on Prime and that’s good too, but not as good as The Shield :D

If you like Sons of Anarchy, Animal Kingdom on Prime is really good.

The sinner is good although the latest season is a bit weird!

Snowpiercer - it’s based on the film but the series is very good

Some of those are on Prime I think but it’s worth joining just to see them.

Nothing we’ve found compared to Ozark though. We are sad we’ve not got any more of it to watch!

We have (finally) just started "Good Omens" and are loving it ? Not quite the same genre, but loads of fun.

My friends have recommended Unorthodox - I'm currently watching Ozark and may move onto that afterwards.

I've just got into Ozark - I'm about 8 episodes in.

The Shield was just destination television for us 15+ years ago. DH and me loved it like we had never enjoyed tv before. Not TV people before...actually didn't have a tv for 10 years!.

Justified is super
Sons of Anarchy also super
Homeland is great too
Breaking Bad too...

Girls was fab too.

Loved Ozark too, last series went too quick. Only other comparable series for us was Ray Donovan on Now TV, I think there’s 7 seasons it was really brilliant, we binged watched it, felt gutted when it ended but thankfully I hear there will be another season!!

I’ve watched Sinner, unorthodox and Money Heist, all good but not quite in the Ray Donovan, Ozark league! Quite jealous of people who haven’t seen either yet! Will have to give Justified a go.

Completely different but I did watch The Notebook again last week for the umpteenth time, totally recommend if you like a good romance and a young Ryan Gosling! 😍

I absolutely love Ozark too, one of my top 5 series! I can’t understand some people saying it’s cringeworthy and not being able to get past a few episodes. The actors are excellent and well drawn, the story lines are refreshing and not a typical rehash of the same thing seen many times before.

Have you tried Patrick Melrose on Now TV? It’s harrowing at times but the acting is fantastic and really thought provoking. Sorry if you don’t have Now TV, maybe do a free trial if possible.
Peaky Blinders is excellent too.

We’re watching succession. Awful awful people but enjoying it immensely.

I thought the same for the Sinner, just felt a bit messy!

Season 3 of The Sinner was boring and silly.

Bill Pullman is as wooden as a gatepost in it.

Have you seen The Americans? Great plot and there are 6 seasons I think so will keep you busy for a while!
