We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Unfortunately for the Taliban, an irate farmer is behind the truck and Elvis lets him go on ahead.

Boom! One burned out truck, dead driver and a roasted goat.

CJ is welded to that phrase "ASAP".

It's a long road to Kabul!

One minute Rab is joking with Maisie and the next minute he is struggling to breathe. Georgie to the rescue.

Oh dear - Rab is in trouble. Georgie to the rescue. He's got a collapsed lung. She is panicking.

Surprised Maisie doesn't google it - it worked for Mimi.

CJ looks on and is pretty useless throughout this. Elvis is far better.

Georgie has to administer a chest drain and Rab comes round.

As usual, Elvis is there to give Georgie the reassurance.

And so the truck trundles on to Kabul. Elvis clambers to the back where Georgie is looking after Rab and tells her he loves her - clearly everyone on board must know about them by now anyway.

Ah, Maisie realises how much she thinks of Rab - that's sweet.

CJ sounds a bit choked up. That 'Never Again' is for himself.

Despite the way she treats Rab, it's very obvious how Maisie really feels about him.

A little pep talk from CJ. They all look pretty shell shocked at the events of the day so far.

Ah, the somewhat stilted conversation between Elvis and Georgie in the ward, and Rab spoils the moment.

Elvis eavesdrops on the conversation between Georgie and Maisie and realises she's going back to Nepal. He must wonder if she's going back to see Milan. Who would choose Milan over Elvis, I ask you?

Talk about interrupting a private conversation - how very dare you!

He declares undying love and will change for her, maybe even doing SF selection/training.

Milan v Elvis? Is there even a competition.

How does Georgie get away with staying out all night when she is sharing a barrack room with all of them?

The devil child rears her head again.

Oh no, the phone with the everlasting battery again. Thara is now in Pakistan.

What amazes me is that no-one has nicked the phone off the brat.
